Year 3 for Brown, what are you hoping to see?

Matt Campbell was 8-5 in his second year and beat highly regarded OU that year. He didn't just win 5 games. Not the same as Brown at all. Not close.

Also the team that Campbell inherited was NOT close to being BIG 12 champions.

The team that Brown inherited had a 10 win and couple of 8 win seasons, never won less than 7 games and was 3 pts from beating playoff contending OU. Had a top 10 offense. To try and ignore that and paint it as some sort of losing team, when that's what Brown has actually produced is ignoring reality.
The team that Campbell inherited had all returning starters on defense. Top QB in BIG 12. Stable of RB one who is now a pro. One who is still there that is more likely even better.

Got some transfers to sure up some holes. Look and see how he does when they are gone.

Brown inherited a pile of crap OLINE no QB and 1 RB with no br es al away speed. A young defense spattered with just enough defensive players returning.

That 10 win team was 2016. Those players were already gone. Nice try though dumbass.

State is a flash in the pan. Campbell will leave as soon as he sees his talent level drop and he is unable to replenish it.

What is Matt Campbell record in his first two years? 11 Wins 14 Losses

He also had a 7 win season in his 4th year... 3,8,8,7....

Neal Brown = 11 Wins & 11 Losses + With 2 probable wins removed from his second year record, due to COVID, in which case would put him ahead on Total Wins. Even without those 2 wins, he still has a higher Win%..

Not to mention the shit team he inherited.

Crackhead is a perfect example of selection bias. Ill define, as im positive he'll have to google that to understand: You identify a single metric or single color to paint a picture, to form an opinion, to choose a single data point to support your perspective.

How many games did Dh win the year after he lost Geno&Company?

Also, Neal Brown out recruited Matt in both his classes(2020 & 2021).

Honestly, I think hes a Rivals employee with 130 fake accounts and its his job to "nurture fan engagement" by posting the most ridiculous bullshit to fans on their forums. That or, hes Logan... There is no other explanation as to why he's allowed to be here.

IF Brown could just coach like Spears...we would win a national title....again.

THAT MIGHT BE SARACASM BUT IT'S RIGHT. DOC SPEARS WAS THE BEST COACH EVER AT WVU. NEHLEN, BOWDEN, CARLEN, RICH WERE NOT CHOPPED LIVER BUT THEY DIDN'T ACHIEVE WHAT DOC DID. 2 LOSSES IN 3 CONSECUTIVE SEASONS. ALL THE DETRACTORS WOULD BE DANCING NAKED IN THE STREETS IF WVU DID THAT IN THE NEXT 3 SEASONS!

12-team playoff would have gotten WVU into only TWO playoffs in 29 years! We need 16-team playoff to increase the odds of the Mountaineers making the field! January Madness here we come, in 2023 or later.

This will be increased pressure on Neal Brown and Shane Lyons because it will be extremely important to have a better than 9-3 team in 2023 or later to make the field. 10-2 would be better and only FOUR coaches in WVU history have done that in 1.3 centuries!

Rich did it the most -- THREE times! Only WVU coach to do that well in W-L seasons!

1922 Clarence “Doc” Spears 10-0-1 (first season without a loss)

1969 Jim Carlen 10-1

1988 Don Nehlen 11-1

1993 Don Nehlen 11-1

2005 Rich Rodriguez 11-1

2006 Rich Rodriguez 11-2

2007 Rich Rodriguez 11-2

Don Nehlen would kick the shit out of Spear shit.

Rod would have Pat demoralize Spears lame ass.

Holgs would score 50 on his weak ass. Even Stewart would embarrass Spear dork.

Can anybody believe that some dork would post that playoff expansion from four to 12 teams isn't good enough...need 16! Hey CFE why not 32 or 64? Heck make the whole season a playoff and start with game one! If you want to make sure the Mountaineers make it that would do it. Squirrel running free.

Honestly care less about WVU football than WVU any other sport. Been mismanaged for so long only a masochist could be interested now
