Arrgh...sounds like when I finally stopped playing football 4 years ago now, body couldn't take it anymore. I still get the feel years later, Sat/Sun early AM gameday, I wanna go some days and probably could, but then a week of ice bath lol. I'm not gonna lie to ya, you'll miss that like I do now...but you know that. You'll channel it...for your girl, a worthwhile endeavor....
Jarry is playing wonderful. Maybe they can couple him with ZAR or Simon for winger who can finish

sid and jake love playing with simon. I'd say we are stuck with him for now...
the guy can play, he just can't finish. its almost comical.
he does all the little things those two hockey savants like. the one he goofed up last night on the pretty passing play is par for the course.
he was the pens first overall pick in 99. had a set of wheels, but no hands.
wow, what a goal. that's why simon plays with them two. dam nice play to get the puck to sid.
Not sure how long he can keep it up, but Jarry is a serious goaltender these days. Have to say, to my eyes, he looks more confident than Murray.
He is a solid backup to my eyes...one of him or DeSmith needs dealt...for assets. The better he plays the better off we are, we know Casey can do the job too...
Btw...you and I will likely have a good serious discussion as to why Murr should be the starter/dealt (facebook fan hate)/ or given the pine for a period ( well not just a period but you get it)....he has his faults, I admit, however those that call for Jarry or Casey as starter right now? Uh nope....my arguement will be not Stanley Cups (although I could and those take nerves of steel along with a solid partner in Flower at the time), but it will be playing time...give me a solid 3-4 month window of one of the two backups playing lights out? Torontoeers can see the reasoning...and will go for what is best for the TEAM. I like all 3 of our netminder at this point for various reasons....over to you lol.
Oh, I'm not proposing Jarry is their established #1......he's just playing better than I think I'd have ever expected. He's obviously not going to continue playing at a .974 save percentage over any length of time; but I'm wondering if they DO need to keep riding this particular horse while he's running about as well as he can.
An oddball scenario there...I like Schultzie...cause usually I can ignore him, I just auto know he's gonna do the job....
Oh I agree...in fact if he pulls this one out, play him on Sat 100%. You know how I feel about goaltender pressure on the starter....NEEDS to happen....and geez I just spoke out of turn...Gud gives it up, and they freakin fire it...ugh.
Couldn't agree more.....I'll frankly be delighted if they leave Tampa with a point.

I don't dislike him anywhere near as much as most folks......but I gotta admit I don't miss Pierre between the benches (with Doc and Edzo) this season one bit.
