Pens March

He should have never been included in trade discussions. He is exactly what we needed. Teams had been used to T’ing off on us because we weren’t known to slug back. Granted ultimately the end score is all that matters, but talk about paying a price. Washington tried to take out Sid last year in the playoffs. Boston and that Jackass starting shit the other night. Do you think those things happen had RR been apart of the roster? I know where I’d place my money on the answer.

The odd thing is that RR was playing his best hockey. I know Brassard scored a nice goal the other night but he hasn't impressed me at all. Looks slower than i thought he'd be. Wish we still had him.

And I'm sick of the Pens continuing obsession with passing around the perimeter on the PP......Cryers (for now, at least) have their PP scouted perfectly, and know the Pens will kill 3/4 of a PP looking for a single good shot (which they haven't come close to finding as yet).

Exactly! It’s not like RR wasn’t doing anything besides being muscle. He was really starting to come on.

Whatever happened to a solid shot from point and Sid lying in wait at side of cage I have no idea...and yes agree 100%

Presumably, the Cryers will figure the stripes to put their whistles away on them for awhile.....or at least until the penalties even up.

Frankly, I'm not sure that will happen in Philadelphia; if they want to keep their sticks and elbows up and continue planting Penguins into the walls, I think the stripes actually will keep sending them.

I wish I were there in the stands right now planting elbows...although best to wait till late 3rd, and get value out of ticket....I give myself about 3 or 4 good shots on em before I am either bludgeoned in the stands or taken down to the basement and they bring out the phonebook and clubs...

Imagine how great he would be if he really took care of himself.

For the record, it's something like 670 in a row for Kessel right now.

Granted, the guy hasn't gone hard into a corner, maybe, ever........and it's not like he spends any time mixing it up in the slot where guys like Horndog are getting attacked. But with a ironman streak like that, it's tough (IMO) to say he doesn't take care of himself......no matter what he looks like.

last time I went to a pens game in philly, some guy put his ass on my car as we were exiting the parking lot. I guess its better than the junk.

Wow...I knew he was playing a pretty good streak but had no idea it was that extensive...

NHLN Radio reported today this is Kessel's 900th game. I believe they said his last-games-lost-to-injury were in his first season in Toronto.

Lmao...my first and only time at a Philly game was on way home from a guys trip YEARS ago in Va Beach. The old Spectrum, and I think it was vs the Stars...bought upper deckers outside. Remember leaving start of third...they were losing badly and well as you know/can imagine we said lets get outta here stat...
