t, you're warm......strictly speaking, she bought an ETAGERE; which is a fancy word for a knick-knack/shit shelf. Certainly something that NO home should be without; and in any event, NOTHING better I could possibly think to do with the $375.00
Now I am looking this fine piece of French sounding home gear up lol...just think, you will always remember back to that game vs the Iles when all her friends show up and throw accolades at her purchase

I won't be home when anyone comes over and compliments her. What I will always remember is we brought it home on a 50 shot day; that's gotta be worth something.
Was I the only one screaming at Sid NOT to give up the puck on the game winning 2 on 1.....which he's done so many times ?? Happily, Sid realized it made no sense to give up the disc to a defenseman (Schultz).
Meanwhile, did anyone catch the end of the Canadiens-Bruins on Center Ice ?? B's tied up a 1-0 game late in regulation, and won on OT on a world-class one-man effort by Rat Marchand. Like everyone else outside Boston, I hate the sonovabitch; but I can't deny he's turned himself into one SERIOUS hockey player.
March 3rd 2018....Pens win big in OT...and the Etagere is purchased...creating happy times in the suburbs of Cincy :wink:
Damn do I hate him...and yes...he is unfortunately. Apparently him and Sid are buddies? SMH...Grrrrr....it was Sid's lookoff that really got me. And just wired it!
And about 2 mins ago? Yours truly managed to get tix for next Saturday night from/with my buddy ( local Pens fan...across the street from me) at below face! You fellas know my Leaves hate, and my record in attending roadies is pretty damned good lol. Oh boy....lot's of smack talking in that arena on tap! Yesir!!!

Not sure what's going to happen tonight. Flames have as many goaltending problems right now as the NYI, and we know how many shots it took to beat them. Unfortunately, I believe they have one of the better defenses in the League, so who knows.
Craps seem to have righted their ship at bit, while the Cryers and Devils have both lost 3 straight; so they're now dealing with similar issues as the Pens. But I was pissed the Cryers earned a point on Saturday in Tampa (which it appears they earned honestly) while the Pens couldn't do the same thing a week ago in Florida.
For some reason, I'm worried that single point they couldn't hold onto in the last 3 minutes (after the big comeback) against the Panthers might end up mattering, as is the case this morning. Anyway, Metro schedules follow through next Sunday.....as you'll see, nobody's got it easy this week:

Looks like DeSmith is in the pipes tonight. Let’s see if he can right the ship. Have that feeling that if he struggles, we won’t see him again once MM returns.
I'm starting to wonder how this team......with THIS blue line.....can beat any decent 1st round playoff opponent in a 7 game series who can skate even just a little bit. I mean, who can we trust on the back end these days NOT to turnover the puck ??
I think its just a matter of making better decisions with the puck from the whole team.
they are hard to beat when the other team has to go 180 feet with the puck.
I was shaking my head last night. Letang has been playing pretty darn good hockey and looked terrible last night. Ruhwedel got caught in no-mans land when that pass went through his legs. Oleksiak seems to have have hit a plateau the last 2 weeks or so..... I know they wanted Brassard badly but now Huntwick is the only depth they have on the blue line and that is damn scary

Interesting poll this year amongst players...some of it is fluff yet some worthwhile. Our boy is still on top in a few categories (no real surprise here), and I know @DocEER will point to that toughest category and cringe lol...No question I was starting to really like him...

He should have never been included in trade discussions. He is exactly what we needed. Teams had been used to T’ing off on us because we weren’t known to slug back. Granted ultimately the end score is all that matters, but talk about paying a price. Washington tried to take out Sid last year in the playoffs. Boston and that Jackass starting shit the other night. Do you think those things happen had RR been apart of the roster? I know where I’d place my money on the answer.
