Making the Sweet 16 when you only have to beat 12th and 13th seeds to get there doesn't make you great. Nor does finishing as the runner-up in your conference. It was a good, but not great, season for WVU.
Maybe not, but 335 other DI teams would have loved to trade places with WVU this past week.

I doubt that 335 schools are envious of WVU, but you can keep dreaming, Forever. I'm a little jealous of Duke and Kansas basketball and Alabama football, but when you combine the two major college sports, I wouldn't trade being an OSU fan for being a fan of any other school.

I have lived in West Virginia, in the heart of WVU Nation, for 28 years, Bub. Because of this, I know about 100 WVU fans for every Ohio State fan I know. As for Ohio State, if you know of any other school, other than Clemson, perhaps, that will finish this academic year with a Top 5 football ranking and a Top 20 basketball ranking, then let me know.
