Just home from a real long work day slugging. Was tracking it up 1 donut 6 mins left...and freakin whammo. Gsus man. 2 goals in 2 games after Buffalo....how bad do these guys want it? Not very much it looks like. I did not see the game so no clue who is at fault but if you don't score then how the **** do you expect to win? This is all too frustrating...pissed.
42 shots on, 6 of em by him tells me he had either chances or wasted opportunities, 6 more by Horny? Where the hell has he been too? If those two aren't putting biscuit in basket then it is certain doom. 42 shots on and one goal. THAT is unacceptable in every way, I don't give a shit if Sawchuck is in goal. 38 from them the other way. Tell me OM1 or any of the rest of ya, did MM collapse or they were very good goals? A low scoring game you'd love to see him pull out but regardless his mates should have given him an extra marker at minimum after 55 minutes or so.... Excuse me while I go throw this phone against the wall now...f sakes.
Murray played well down the stretch. He got caught leaning a little on the tying goal imo. But Crosby took a chance and tried to grab a pass and whiffed......flyers came back 4-2. Murray stopped better chances all night but let that one in. Not blaming him tough. the game winner was just a compete fvk up by Sid. He made a horrid play at center ice letting the flyers break in two on one. Good shot. The last two games, Sid has barfed up the Selke.
As far a scoring chances, the game was completely controlled by the Pens. Glorious scoring chance after glorious chance. Dumo had two or three from twenty feet. Everyone it seems had chances. Just couldn't beat Hart. Not a ton of great saves, just shots nicking him shoulder, blocker or pads. Lots of shots into the logo too. Give him credit, he was in position and nothing snuck by him. The pp was an abortion.
Yikes....sounds like one of those that if you saw it live you'd be pensive all damn game only to have the knife to gut at end...woulda been some livid/ deflated fans walking outta PPG after that one...
Meanwhile, I'm wondering if we've seen the last of Geno until the playoffs (??)......if he's got rib problems, he's probably going to have trouble sleeping at least this week, and nothing beside rest is going to make them start feeling better.
And while he's certainly needed in the lineup, that side of his will certainly represent a juicy target for all the defensemen they're going to see the next 3 weeks.

You got it ! I get two of em a year...luck of the draw is one of the twinned main generators for data systems at TD Bank downtown craps out. 2 kv temp unit installed in the main buildings square...after 12 hrs and several thousand feet of cable all is well. Midnight shutdown shift tonight too. Will be glad when normalcy sets in by Wed.

Speaking of playoffs ...these guys better get serious tomorrow and rip off a W in Raleigh, cause they've got two pretty tough ones in the middle of this roadie vs Dallas and Nashville. Best I think we hope for there is one of the two. After that the shitsack Rangers so no excuse for a poor performance there.
As for Geno, his O will be missed for certain , however for this guy It'll hopefully be a nice break from yelling at the tv and his total bonehead penalties for a change....

I'm usually the one staggering through the gates...you'll have no problem spotting me. Careful though, even when drinking I'm known to be a bit of a whirling dervish....
Beat these 'bunch of jerks' . Just get it done...don't wanna go down three in a row, and nobody should ever desire to see theatrical baseball or bowling on ice after the game...let em go play charades in the dressing room after a loss.
