Biggest game of the season for them......wonder if Torts will put Bob back in goal ???
Is there anything in sports better than iso camera shots of Torts when he's losing to the Pens ??
NOTHING!!! In thinking...the local Burgh radio station should run a promo to be media for a day at the post game...if given the Mic? 'Hey coach! Torontoeers here with the Pittsburgh You Can Go Suck A Dick Torts News reporting...'Do you feel there is anything you could have done better tonight to quell the tide? Seems your guys were running around a lot?' ....I'd love to sit back and 'take it' like Brooksie ...just for a day.

Habs are at San Jose tonight (and pass the Pens if they win based on total wins). If the Canes win their next game in regulation or OT (tomorrow night against Winnipeg), they'll move into 3rd in the Metro based on ROW and drop the Pens to the WC.

No scoop, but a HUGE night coming up in the Metro......not just the Blojax last regular-season shot at figuring out the Penguins, but Carolina (coming off that 8-1 bitch-slapping at home by the Jets) at Nashville. BTW, wondering if a meltdown like that (at the Jerk Tank, no less) could mean the Canes are finally ready to return to earth a bit after that crazy 13-3 stretch they'd been on since FEB 1 ???
Man, it'd be nice to see the good guys wake up tomorrow with a 4 point lead over the Canes and Habs......and 6 over the Blojax. And that's especially true with the hottest team in about the last friggin' century (B's haven't lost a game since January) coming into Pittsburgh tomorrow night. OTOH, I think I prefer a good opponent coming into PPGPA rather than someone already out of the playoffs (against whom the Pens wouldn't come in ready to play).
BTW, Pens currently are only 4 points out of 2nd place (with the Isles hosting the Cryers tonight, and playing at hopefully beyond-desperate Columbus on Monday).

Murr was amazing last night. Too bad we didn’t get the win for him. That shorty killed us once again.
Well, worst possible outcome last night with the Preds absolute no-show at home versus the Canes (who should have been ripe to be smoked a second night in a row). Oh well, just, pick up tonight where you left off Thursday night against the hottest team in the League.....with your backup presumably in the cage.....with the momentum of the last few games now down the drain 
I found out the other day he was nerdy kid in the neighborhood my mother moved us to when i was in 6th grade. I guess some things don't change.

NO EICHEL when I'm there Thurs night for them after 2 game suspension ...this bodes well for us, although I like to watch the kid dangle...he GOOD!

Sid made a world-class feed, to be sure......but Guentzel showed some f******sick hands to convert with essentially no room to maneuver and press the trigger. Might have been his best GF of the season.
