It’s been a long night. We have had a player on the floor probably once every 3 possessions, and we have not been a flopping team all year.If the defender is going to be allowed to chest bump the ball handler and get no call then it's going to be a long night.
I fully expect 2nd half to be called TIGHT. Would that surprise you? It’s been a long night. We have had a player on the floor probably once every 3 possessions, and we have not been a flopping team all year.
Eilert needs to learn to be a physical coach as much as his players need to learn to play physical. He needs to get up in the Refs face and get a T call. It’s been a long night. We have had a player on the floor probably once every 3 possessions, and we have not been a flopping team all year.
Both sides or just one sided?I fully expect 2nd half to be called TIGHT. Would that surprise you?
No, it would be par for the inconsistent course. However, if its call tight on both sides, that can only help us at this point.I fully expect 2nd half to be called TIGHT. Would that surprise you?
This is the type of game where having Huggins would pay off. He would have called a timeout early, spend the entire time chewing on the refs, and then the calls would have changed. Eilert doesn't have the clout to do that.Eilert needs to learn to be a physical coach as much as his players need to learn to play physical. He needs to get up in the Refs face and get a T call.
I agree. I guess need to wait and see how this half is officiated but he should be thinking about getting a T early to hopefully buy us some calls later in the game. Especially on the physical crap.Eilert needs to learn to be a physical coach as much as his players need to learn to play physical. He needs to get up in the Refs face and get a T call.
He needs to learn how to get that clout if he wants to coach. This is the type of game where having Huggins would pay off. He would have called a timeout early, spend the entire time chewing on the refs, and then the calls would have changed. Eilert doesn't have the clout to do that.
Putting in Edwards would change nothing as far as being more physical.Guess no sense in playing Edwards as well. Don’t suppose we need a big body underneath in this game.
be a waste in this gamePutting in Edwards would change nothing as far as being more physical.
Dawkins obviously gets the Duke officiating game plan.Someone explain how #3 didn't get a technical foul, or why the refs didn't at least go to the monitor to look at it?
Well Kerr would have given it to him if he was patient.#1 grabs Kerr while dribbling.....NO CALL
And also what fouling without any consequences can do for a teamThis game shows what a rim protector means for a defense.
True. But we've lost about 20 points around the rim from either blocked or altered shots. And also what fouling without any consequences can do for a team
