I'm still confused.......what are the players trying to prove when they all stand and lock arms during the playing of the anthem. They are saying it's a show of solidarity. Solidarity for what...is it still a protest?

It is a show of solidarity for those players that initially kneeled and Trump called them SOB's and they should be fired. Trump and those that think like them are so far in the wrong on so many levels, it isn't even funny.

It's saying they recognize their act of protest was offensive to many people and have decided to do something of note that doesn't offend and take away from what they're ultimate goal is.

It also says something else that will refuse to be acknowledged: Trump ended the kneeling.

1. The constitution applies to the government and not private businesses.

2. Nobody said all the players are SOBs but you repeat that lie.

3. From the looks of all the teams standing, ticket discounts and apologies to fans it seems your opinion of the owners is bullshit.

1. If I started protesting at my job, I shouldn't be fired? For instance, if I posted a Confederate flag on the window to my office, there should be no reprisal?

2. He never said all NFL players were SOBs. You're a liar.

3. I'm sure there is another reason for the drastic change in what teams are doing. Its likely due to fan reaction. I'll grant you this one.

Teams like Dallas will be sold out everywhere they play. They led the league in home and road attendance. Green Bays entire season is sold out prior to opening day. Even if nobody attends those games they will be sellouts.
