I'd certainly give that a go...they are feeding off each other brilliantly.
when they are skating, I don't think there is a team that can stay with them... although teams have started to change more to the pens style, no one does it like the pens. no one.
No other contenders. The rest of the league knows. Especially those jackasses in Nashville.

come on... even after the first two cups, hockey was largely an afterthought for most pittsburgh sports guys... now its mainstream here... kind of sucks imo. I liked it better when it was a niche sport.
Reaves to Ottawa now? And Cole gone? I'm awfully curious to hear the rest...both Reaves, and Cole plus the 1st and Gustavsson? Eessh...that would be too much imo.

I'm drinking out of a capitals cup that they used as a giveaway at a home game last year. its actually pretty cool, you can sync via the internet to light up every time your team scores. best part is you don't have to set up for the crapitals goals. any nhl team was available when I did it so now it lights up when the pens score. its like drinking their tears. one of my friends works for the concession company where the craps play. I still don't want to go there either.
It is EVERYWHERE now guys...even up here in spades...in saying that I have been a diehard since the day 66 drafted ( although that team EURO with Straka et al after the Cups bugged me a lot) , I will be curious to see where things go 3 or 4 years down the road. Although they seem to keep developing good talent, with few high drafts, The Burgh does need a superstar imo...who will that guy be? Hopefully somebody...
god I loved those penguins teams. no one seemed to believe in them and they played the role well. then when 66 came back they had the best team in the league. just couldn't find the magic vs the debils...
