Pens December

Well he's on my $hitlist too tonight for certain...no idea what he's doing out there tonight....

To be fair this is the first time it was this bad this year from him.

just trying to do too much.

I wonder how high of lifts they put in letang's shoes for these edgar snyder commercials.

Oh believe you/me I wanna see the kid hold the fort here in 3 and get assist in a W. He seems a good guy, and he wears Black/Gold. It breeds competition. If he doesnt then get ready, cause the debate is on with this rival Flower (Jarry by default) /Murray faction yet again...sigh...

had a good friend at wvu who was actually from sweeden. I took him to more than a few pens games back then and he would rock his sweeden jersey til my father couldn't take it anymore and actually bought him a hedberg jersey. he has been a pens fan since then and man that dude could party.

Miles Wood? He's on the block and the number is fairly friendly (2.7 with another year left till RFA). Down on production of late and a minus, BUT this dude seems to piss me off every time the Pens play against him...thus I want him lol. He's certainly gotta be better than Yuk....

Jarry again... likely the correct choice. However do not falter tonight young fella, my bet says 30 is champing at the bit to get back in.

Let's Go Pens! F these chumps!

They the pens figure skated Tuesday and back at it again today. How 18 skaters can all tank it for 4 straight periods (since P1 of the Habs game) just blows my mind

I fell asleep on the couch, did I miss anything?
No! But I did just have an epiphany when I remembered Yuk played with Yak (upov) in my old hometown Sarnia, in the OHL. That town obviously brings out the suckage...other than Stamkos but, those 2 were honestly damn good together and fell right off the map...well very soon for our guy anyway...

Ya it's 0-0 , so I guess the crew has to talk about something, like how exceptional the goaltending was but has it been? I have seen neither seriously tested and now OT. Oh well at least a point tonight

Glad I missed most of that one last night; didn't get home and settled until late in the 3rd. Wasn't sure if Sully would come back with Jarry; guess it was a good move. From what I understand, Torts was in one of his moods after the game.....still always the best part of any/every Pens win over the Blojax.

Read the Guins had almost $32 million+ of cap space out of the lineup last night......and that Jake ended up playing center. Not sure what this is worth, but I see Yuk had 4 SOG; more than anyone on the Blojax and 2nd behind Rusty's 6 SOG. Were any of them legitimate scoring chances, or was he just unloading every time he got inside the blue line ??

Meanwhile, so Geno needed to stay home with the wife and kid; was there any stated conjecture it was a one-night-off kind of issue, or if whatever it is/was might linger into the weekend (or longer) ??

I didn't even notice galchenyuk was on the ice.

One was a decent chance imo, the rest not so much...
FWIW.

if he doesn't start producing, he's as good as gone/healthy scratch when sid/geno/bjugstad returns. matter of fact, trade bjugstad too.

I think Tricky Nicky absolutely was a trade candidate back when he was hurt previously. But since then, I get the impression McCann......who I get the impression was being viewed as his possible replacement at center......is no longer considered a long-term solution at that position.

For that reason, I'm thinking they might well just live with Bjugstad and get whatever they can from him the rest of the season. Then maybe he can be moved next summer for someone like another Nick (Bonino) at a similar cap hit.

OTOH, Bonino is having a very good year by his standards.....12-7-19 in 30 games......and might end up being unattainable, at least in a 1 for 1 deal for someone like Tricky Nicky.

Yes McCann seems to have tailed off a bit the last few which surprises me a bit. Not sure if it's because he is getting a few more minutes against the opposition big guns at that C spot or not?...Bjugs drives me a bit nuts at times. For such a big player he plays too small for my liking often...
