If Florence hits NC, what are options for game scheduling

There is another West Virginia Team scheduled to play in the Carolinas this weekend. Marshall at South Carolina. Will it also get canceled? Maybe this is the one scenario that could get Marshall and WVU to play each other again? Play it at Mountaineer Field this Saturday.
Logistically, you couldn't make that happen. Too many things involved, including tickets. Not to mention, both in-state teams are currently preparing to play someone else, as opposed to each other. Plus, Chuck Landon hasn't opined yet.

Would it be impossible to move the Baylor game to Saturday the 27th? Seems Mountaineer field wont be hosting anything that day. I know TV folks might not like it, but wouldn't it be worse to forgo an entire game?

Why is it so important for you to disrupt the schedule of 4 teams?

This game has yet to be canceled but more than likely will be.

It seems NC State and WVU want to make the game happen. Also, its tha ever important 13th data point that is often used as an excuse to exclude non blue blood from better bowls. The question is if there a way to guarantee the game rather just playing it assuming neither team makes their conference championship game.

Why? This scenario is a no-win situation.

It would be superior to 1. Canceling the game entirely. 2 Playing someone further down the rung than Youngstown State as a replacement. 3. Playing Marshall under conditions that don't help WVU.

Plus just suggesting that we play Marshall gets some people worked up.
