Saturday’s game marks the 28th all-time meeting between WVU (22-6, 11-6 Big 12) and TCU (19-9, 6-11 Big 12). West Virginia is 22-5 all-time against the Horned Frogs, including 9-2 in games played in Morgantown. West Virginia won the first meeting, 77-52, earlier this season on the road. The Mountaineers have won eight straight in the series.

TCU opened the season with a perfect nonconference record but has been plagued by injuries throughout the season. The Horned Frogs will welcome back two key pieces for the game in center Sedona Prince and guard Madison Conner.

The pair both average over 20 points per game this season with Prince (21.3) leading the team offensively and Conner (20.0) sitting just behind. Prince averages a double-double with a team-leading 10.3 rebounds as Conner leads TCU in both assists (3.0) and steals (1.2).

The Mountaineers come into the contest on a three-game losing skid, marking the first time this season the Mountaineers have lost three consecutive games. Most recently, the Mountaineers fell on the road to Oklahoma State, 68-61, after falling to two straight ranked opponents.

The Mountaineers were led in scoring by sophomore guard Jordan Harrison who finished with a WVU career-high 22 points. Junior guard JJ Quinerly finished with 17 points, marking the 26th time this season she has scored in double figures. Junior guard Kyah Watson and Quinerly corralled five rebounds in the game.

Harrison ranks 2nd all-time in program history for assists by a sophomore with 151, as the total is the second most in the Big 12. Her 5.4 assists per game lead the conference. Quinerly is the fourth-leading scorer per game in the conference at 19.2 while her 549 total points lead in the league.

Quinerly, Harrison (13.8) and fifth-year guard Lauren Fields (10.1) continue to pace WVU's offensive effort this season.

The Mountaineers have the top four steal leaders in the Big 12 with Quinerly (3.2), Harrison (3.0), Fields (2.3) and junior guard Kyah Watson (2.3). Watson paces WVU in rebounding, with 6.4 per game.
