Down 2 scores and hastily choosing to go for it instead of attempting the FG was the Bonehead play of the game.

Tonight, we played more disciplined and most importantly, we out toughed them tonight. Boys had their ears pinned back on D, the OL were driving people off the ball, we were initiating collisions and winning at the point of attack. Aside from the first drive, the DL and LBs looked great.

This kind of game might be offensive to most fans these days because it was a slug fest and lacking flash on the offense. This is the kind of game I love to watch. Manning up and taking the opposing team’s goddamn manhood. This was a real football game.

I applaud the boys for tonight’s win. Always sweet to get a W, but it’s never sweeter than when it’s against Pitt and VPI.

Had better players than WVU at many positions. It isn’t close eigh some.

I know we won but can’t wait till this whole coaching staff is back in the Sun belt.

Grab Nicco after the fumbled snap and talk to him. As they were running back to the sideline he took his hand and physically forced Nicco to pick his chin up. Watch the replay and you’ll see it. Cool moment from a dude who seems like a really good teammate.

Houston also looks winnable.
Wish we played Iowa State this year.
TT, TCU, OK State all three look winnable.

The three game stretch with UCF, BYU & Oklahoma looks tough. At least BYU is at home.

We should be capable of winning against Baylor & Cincy as both look beatable.

All that said, we could lose to anybody, too. We need to play each game with the same toughness we played last night.

were they really trying to win...or purposefully delaying the inevitable?

They claim that this game means nothing to them, that it is our Super Bowl and we are not rivals. Wrong, they are our rival and we want to win and so do they.

They also claim that WVU did not have a lot of fans at the game last year. So both of these can’t be true. If they truly believe they don’t care about this game then why was it the most attended sporting event in pittsburgh history?

If they really don’t care then most of those fans were apparently WVU fans.

In one of the most dramatic finishes in Backyard Brawl history, Pitt scored two touchdowns in the final 3 minutes, 41 seconds, separated by only 43 seconds of game clock time. There were six lead changes before Pitt sealed the victory by stopping WVU on downs at the Panthers' 22. Re@e


I know they lead the all time series but down deep inside care. Hope we put up 52 points on their stuck up fans and send the few that are coming down to Morgantown home with the loss. If they are lucky they will reach 50,000 for one of their remaining home games. They definitely didn’t do it for their River City Rivalry last week. Any win against pitt is a great win.

Game will be played at 7:30 p.m. and be televised by ABC Saturday night. Yeah, I’m doing it. It’s Pitt week.

It was a great night overall.

The only thing that would have made it better was NBC putting "Manimal' back on the air and a $50 gift card to Bed, Bath, & Beyond.

About what you would expect from losers but I will never understand why people talk shit leaving a game after getting just wrecked.

Pitt fan on way out said something to the guy in front of me and the guy said "I hope you enjoyed what a real fan base looks like" guy responded with "you guys better enjoy it for now.

I mean WTF was that? That was the one story that didn't involve cursing and our section suggesting the putt fan molest himself

I would enjoy.

I think HCNB said the correct thing about the Duquesne game...The score got to where it needed to be, we just started poorly. Take the good win and get ready for sPitt.
