Huge wknd series. Three Q1 opportunities as of right now. With OSU sneaking into #60 in RPI, we’re currently 4-3 in Q1. Given the lack of Q1 games we have on this schedule, it’s imperative we have a winning Q1 record if we want to host.

It's time to start thinking about next year's team and the players that WVU needs to add.

Admittedly I don’t get to see the baseball team, live or otherwise, as often as I would like. Although, I constantly follow the game threads for game updates. As WVU is completing an amazing regular season I wanted to ask those who are closer to the program or follow it more in depth what are your thoughts on this team’s ceiling?

With GVK having two or three bad outings in the last few weekend series, what does a viable three game series starting rotation looking like especially with Estridge and Mayer settling into key roles in the bullpen.

...so I just got back from 16 days in Italy. Two WVU gear encounters. In Rome, not far from the Vatican, there was a dude across the street from me wearing a WVU hoodie. I gave him a LGM and he waved back. In Florence, there was a jogging club out for a run, and a guy was wearing a Mountaineer tshirt. He pointed to me.when he saw my Moutaineer cap.

It should be interesting to see how Rich handles the numbers. They want to add several players but have limited scholarship slots open.

One that caught my eye is Markell Samuel at App State. WVU is definitely in the market for some linemen. The All-Sun Belt Honorable Mention has appeared in 29 career games, with 18 starts at left tackle. He was a linebacker in high school but has put on 80 pounds.

Questioning if Russian leader wants peace or is just 'tapping me along'.

President Donald Trump has expressed doubts that Russian President Vladimir Putin wants to end its war with Ukraine which has raged for more than three years.

Trump took to Truth Social on Saturday to express his growing frustration with the Russian leader in a week that saw Russia launch a deadly missile attack on Kyiv. The Thursday attack on Ukraine killed 12 people and injured at least 90, including children.

"There was no reason for Putin to be shooting missiles into civilian areas, cities and towns, over the last few days," Trump wrote, shortly after he met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the Vatican on Saturday for Pope Francis’ funeral.

"It makes me think that maybe he doesn’t want to stop the war, he’s just tapping me along, and has to be dealt with differently, through ‘Banking’ or ‘Secondary Sanctions?’ Too many people are dying!!!"

one position in all of sports that has the most pressure, what would it be? Not the most important or most athletic but the one with the most personal pressure? I have thought about positions in the sports I love and after observing it watching my grandson play baseball, I believe it has to be a baseball pitcher. He pitches for his little league team and is very hard on himself. In his first two innings, he struck out 5 and had one ground out. Then in his third inning, he grew extremely tired and walked the bases loaded. You could see his frustration and exhaustion. They had a two run lead but he was giving it up. I felt for him because no one could help him but himself. The batters realized he had lost his strike zone and so no one swung. In the end, he got out of it but it had a lasting effect on me and how pressured a position that one is. Going forward, I will be more understanding when a pitcher starts struggling.
