stupid basketball

might not win again this season.....hate to say it but WV is not good......still better than ahia state and marshla though
This is quite the turnaround from only a few weeks back. I tried to warn you that beating the likes of Stoney Brook, Morehead, Navy, and a few other stiffs is nothing to get excited about. You've seen that movie countless times before.

If it makes you feel any better, tune in tonight to watch Michigan get run out of the gym at Iowa. It will get ugly quickly, which may allow the game to end by 9 o'clock, moments before the Herd game follows the Michigan-Iowa tilt on ESPN2. Coach Dan is breaking out a new t-shirt for tonight's game.

That's been Huggies MO for a long time. Play cupcakes at home in November and December and then play .500 in the conference and slip into the dance, taking a better teams spot, only to exit in the first or second round! Clearly he won't play .500 this year in the league and may be on his way to playing .000!

Hey, Sledwrecked: No matter how hard that you try, you can't polish that turd of a 0-4 conference record. Ohio State's basketball team isn't great, but the metrics do not support your delusional statement that the Old Fold & Blew is better than the Buckeyes. Let's review, shall we?

NET rankings (relied heavily upon by the NCAA Tournament Committee): Ohio State #14, WVU #29

KENPOM's ratings: Ohio State #10, WVU #27

ESPN's Power Index: Ohio State #9, WVU #30

Your breakfast (probably granola and prunes) has been served, geezer.

The Bear is 3-0 against ahia state and 9-1 vs marshla.......better

I've so wrecked Sled that he's hijacked his own thread by changing the subject from THIS YEAR'S WVU TEAM and how it compares to Ohio State and Marshall, to bragging about tHuggs' wins YEARS AGO. The first domino has fallen, as tHuggs' top lieutenant has been scapegoated out of Morganhole...more rats will leave this sinking ship, no doubt.

You had the outcome of your game right but you went about it completely the opposite way of what you predicted.

You didn't post "at WVU." If tHuggs' losses at other places don't count, then his wins shouldn't either, and he'd never be in the HOF without all of those empty wins at Akron and Walsh.
no win is an empty win...if you want to look at it that way lets take a gander at ahia states wins and I will throw out the "empty" ones......nuts may not have many left after that

Michigan actually played pretty well last night, which was a pleasant surprise. Blew the game in the closing minute or two, but Iowa had something to do with that. Michigan can't seem to close out games, which is going to place them into the NIT, if they somehow end up with a .500 record overall or better.

B1G has 13 teams (Minnesota being the exception) that can beat one another on any given night, so they'll probably send 8 or 9 teams to the big dance, but all will probably be seeded along the 7-11 lines, with the exception of probably Purdue, and perhaps Wisconsin or some other team that potentially can get hot and win a few games in a row at some point.

I thought Michigan played well. Probably should have won that game.
