lol you got me. I could never intentionally miss a pens game. I did however not watch the pregame and currently have it muted while doing work.
This is a heck of a game...people are getting value out of that inflated price paid aftermarket. Sid 400 and a W caps it off late!

And just an FYI...Mr. Murray now has two of my chosen breed! New addition is Leo the Newf Feb 1st...I am now officially going to make every excuse possible in regards to bad goals lol.

since we had the fluery love fest last night, I need to balance myself out here a bit.

I have been hanging around. Enjoying the effort level minus the Jersey game. Really impressed with 3 and 6 on the backside the last 3 weeks. Maatta looks like he did before his cancer. Of course Geno and Phil are smoking hot, Sid to a slightly lesser degree. If Letang could somehow find that switch I'd be really happy and the Pens would surge. Still a little concerned by Murray.
As far as the MAF love fest, I'd have to say it was cool and he ended his Pens career on a high note, but I can't help but think he cost them at least 1 cup with his playoff chokes.
Do you think the head/neck injuries have taken away his edge or do you think he is in a rut?
I think they have...he's simply been hit too many times...I think my head would be about mush right now were I hit that often....well, some would argue it is lol. In saying that (and I hate doing this cause it's often what guys like Grapes and Kypreos often mention, yuk) he has often in the past seemed to put himself in a spot to be injured. He turns his back to the oncoming play an awful lot through his career imo...

Let's hope they can take a bite outta these Knights tomorrow night...
Pics from this years Lake 'Scugog' Pond hockey tourney. Your Mountaineers were 2 and 1, just missing out on the quarter finals based on goal differential. I'm not ashamed, keeping up with a few of these teams filled with 20 someodd year olds when you are down your 6th man is taxing to say the least! Winning record and did the colors proud....good enough for me. I will now go nurse my cracked ribs from the asshat who laid me out in the 'non contact' pond hockey game...puck fired into their bench from yours truly 2 minutes later sent the message adequately imo...
