Come on CFE you need to keep up and catch this stuff.

Big 12 is being slammed now for having 8 teams with 3 plus losses. They say it's hurting Oklahoma and Baylor shot for a playoff spot. I translate that as meaning Texas is not 9-1 and Baylor is pulling down OU in the playoff spot.

Yet in the ACC they have 13 out of 14 teams with 3 Plus losses only Clemson is unbeaten and they have played zero ranked teams.

Big 10 at least has 1 unbeaten 2 at 9-1 and 2 at 8-2.

SEC has 1 unbeaten team and 2 teams at 9-1 and 1 team at 9-2

PAC has 2 teams at 9-1

So the ACC is getting a pass because it's Clemson.

We should all be slamming the Little Ten for having TRASH teams at the bottom. OSU played Rutgers and Maryland the last two weeks. That is like having TWO byes. The bloated 14 team split conferences are a JOKE. Except for SEC West.

Meanwhile the Big XII is grinding through a round robin against teams that play each other every year.

The ESPN mouthpieces said if Clemson loses they are out.

They don't have a chance to prove themselves unless they go undefeated

Does anyone actually believe Clemson isn’t a Top 4 team? Of course the ACC sucks. All these conferences suck. WVU sucks and they almost beat Baylor then beats KSU at home after they beat Oklahoma. Pitt has Penn St tied at 3 min left if they run 4 QB sneaks from the half yard line. You have Ohio St, Michigan and Penn St then a few solid teams the 6 nothing teams. PAC12 same deal. Like I’ve always said........10-12 legit teams then throw everyone in a hat.

Clemson so far has proved it but a lost to South Carolina could hurt.
Plus it could put Clemson on UGA.
Really generate the drama between the ACC and SEC

Maybe one of these days you can celebrate an actual win over Penn State. .
Pretty bad when you are bragging about a defeat

Wasn’t bragging about a defeat dumbass. Slow down when you read. It was in context of Penn St not being as good as their ranking. They’re solid but by no means a team like Clemson. Is that slow enough for you. You’re getting as bad as the homers in this site.

Your tears of jealousy are delicious. Ohio State has destroyed everything in its path, and plays two very good teams the next two weeks. If the Buckeyes win out, then prepare yourself to throw another tantrum. Just think, Ohio State has finished each of the last two seasons at 13-1, but not been invited to the CFP. Can you imagine your level of butt hurt, if this had happened to WVU?

There's no reason Oklahoma shouldn't be in the playoff lineup right now.

They would not have lost to South Carolina as Georgia did. What accomplishment does Oregon have that OU doesn't? Alabama didn't play anyone and their starting QB is out.

Clemson won't play anyone all season--faced 1 team with a mediocre winning record going into last weekend.

Ohio State played no one this year. They are winning big because they haven't faced anyone but a puffed up Wisconsin, Michigan State, etc. Those teams didn't play anyone either.

Baylor should have been in the top four when OU beat them, and should still be in the top ten.

Ohio State has beaten two teams ranked higher than any team that Baylor has beaten, and hasn't choked away a 25-point to lose on its home field, but be sure to keep hitting the bong, Suckaineer.

No question the Big Ten is the top conference this year. Not even close. Conference Pride here is comical. Ohio St is sick this year. Almost a consensus #1. Only a hater wouldn’t put the Buckeyes in the top spot. Even the haters can’t keep them out this year. Enjoy the ride this year!

Go a little further and examine WHY the big 10 has teams with winning records. As in check out their ooc schedules, then they all beat up Rutgers, big bad northwestern, Maryland, nebraska and the bunch and call themselves powerhouses. Again espn and the media are the sports equivalent of the democraticparty, move the goal posts every time to match your agenda. First its head to head,, common opponents. Then its conference title games, then its quality of loss, then its eye test, then it's well who's playing well now against their conference then its whose conference played nobody so has less teams with losses somewhere. Next year, if need be to feed the suckeyes, they will move the goalposts again

Just because a network or some big ten fanboys ranked teams the Buckeyes faced doesn't mean they are actually better than the teams Baylor defeated.

Oklahoma is elite--your suckeyes found that out last time they played as I recall.

You need to lay off the bong.

Wrong they are like the rethuglican party--pump up unqualified teams and then lie about them and how good they are, and threaten anyone that challenges the false narrative with vicious attack dog mentality.

Swing n miss jibberish. If you can’t admit Ohio St is sick this year and the Big Ten stands on top you’re pathetic and helpless.

Jealousy? Ha! Ha! Nice try Little Ten.

WVU would not get left out because we schedule TWO P5 conference teams in the OOC. And we even play them at neutral sites and their stadiums. We don’t hide at home. That’s. 9+2+1=12 P5 games if we would make the Big XII championship.

The bottom four of the Little Ten are worse than Kansas.

Nice try defending the Little Ten and the split schedules. Just awful.

Ohio State has looked like the best team all season with consistent play each week in all three phases of the game.

Clemson looks better lately than the did the first part of the season, and despite not playing anyone, they will get in where other 1-loss teams that did play someone will get left out.

I believe 1-loss teams Alabama, Georgia, Oregon, Oklahoma, Penn State and even with two losses - Michigan the way they are playing right now - could finish undefeated with Clemson’s schedule. But probably at least 4 of those 6 will be excluded from the playoffs.

Georgia is the highest ranked 1-loss team in the country, but they also have the worst loss of any 1-loss team. But Georgia and LSU will probably play each other in the SEC title game and the winner is in the playoffs, so they both control their own destiny.

Oregon or Utah will have a shot at 12-1, but will the committee select a 12-1 Utah over a 12-1 Oklahoma that have just beaten a 1-loss Baylor likely in the B12 title game? Oregon probably gets in over Oklahoma, but Utah doesn’t have the same brand recognition as Oregon.

Oklahoma could be coming off a season ending back to back wins over top 25 Ok State and Baylor.

Still a lot that can happen. This year it is hard to say who the top 4 will be when the final rankings come out.

Ohio State scheduled and played against 11 Power 5 teams last regular season (one more than WVU actually played), and played against two more in the postseason. Its game this season scheduled with TCU was called off, due to TCU's wanting to play last season's game at Jerry's World. Future Ohio State schedules feature home-and-home series with Oregon, Notre Dame, Texas & Georgia. What's awful is that you are unable to reconcile your insanely biased (motivated by obvious jealousy) view of the B1G with the computer ratings. Sagarin has Ohio State #1, Michigan #8, Penn State #9, and Wisconsin #10. Baylor is #16, due to the Bears' awful schedule. Computer rankings take schedule strength into account, which completely destroys your argument. Your early dinner has been served.

I don't think that Penn state and Michigan are very good teams. Lower top 25 teams. I think Ohio state is the only dominant team in the Big Ten. when you look at the other conferences the sec is the only conference that may have more than 1 team that is playoff worthy. I do think ohio state is legit top Four.

You may be right, Olegeez, but Michigan seems to be playing better than it has at any time during the Harbaugh Era. Two things could derail Ohio State: Choking in a close game, due somewhat to not having been tested all season, and/or an injury to Justin Fields. I expect the Michigan game to be close, and the Penn State game usually is close.

I don't think Michigan are very good teams
You know, if Michigan were to play against the Big 12 teams, they would be favored in all the games, except for Oklahoma, and I figure they would beat them as well. Stop being delusional. Michigan is playing their best football in years currently.

Ha! Ha! Ha!

Army disagrees.
as stated, Michigan is CURRENTLY playing their best football in years. sure, they had hiccups early on, learning a new offense, and turnovers hurt them dearly. However, I'll default to the media, coaches, and computer polls as my leading indicators of proof.

Baylor lost late but close to OU. Only loss of the season- both of these teams are playoff worthy.

Who does the SEC really have?

Georgia was beaten at home by South Carolina which would be in the bottom third of the other major conferences.

Alabama lost to the only school theyve played.

LSUs claim to fame was beating Texas- which OU also did ( as did ISU and some other BIG 12 schools).

its a crock to pretend the sec is full of playoff contenders. Other conferences have as many talented teams outside the acc anyway.

unfortunately, it's a popularity contest. granted, there are a bunch of schools annually who could make a claim. would be nice to have a 16 team playoff, but I don't see it ever happening, due to those that are currently against it. Fans across the country would overwhelmingly support it. It's the old white guys in suits that are adamantly opposed to it, with the thought process that the regular season is one long playoff. I can buy into that a bit, but once you're looking at the top 2, 3, or 4 teams in each major conference, you can start splitting hairs as to who is better than who. Taking whomever is the top 16 today, and have them all into one big playoff would be the best sporting event of all time, topping even March madness.

You're the one being delusional. You have beat absolutely no one. Oklahoma is not playoff worthy but they are top 10. They would make Michigan look slow. They would beat Michigan by 2 Td's easily. You couldn't beat and over rate PSU team. Ohio state will show that you are nothing which pretty much is the norm for your program the these days.

Ohio State just looks better then the rest of the Big 10. Michigan fans will tell you they are playing better but still haven't beaten anyone worth bragging about. They lost to an over rated PSU team. If they were really top 10 worthy they would have won that game. Michigan fans just can't accept that Ohio State owns the Big 10 and they are nothing more than an appetizer on Osu's dinner plate.

If you look at quality of recruits there is no way ever that the B1G will be the best conference again.
The PAC 12 has a better chance unless of course the B1G wins their war against the SEC
They can't. The B1G has one state with the needed talent in today's game and that is Maryland.
The SEC has seven of them and 4 of the top 5.

Ohio State, though, is a national recruiter and gets the players from all over now.
Ohio State this year has showed not their quality but the lack of quality in the B1G.

I'm guessing one of the final 4 will be Alabama. "Just cause they look good." Those aholes will find a way to include Alabama, who lost to LSU, and probably won't play for SEC title.

It's bullshit not to have an eight-team playoff systems - 5 P-5 champs and three more. Again NCAA has not balls, or sense just a big cahs reserve.

Man you’re a pathetic little brother. Dude feel free to bang away at Pitt and the ACC. There’s room for debate there. But some pee-on WVU fanboy popping off about tOSU and the Big Ten makes you an embarrassment to a college football big boy conversation.

Five of the top 13 teams in the latest CFP poll are B1G teams this week, but yet, he somehow is of the belief that the B1G is a weak football conference.

I’m thinkin a mega thread needs to be put up to discuss, amongst friends, the difference between the mediocre Big12 and the mighty Big Ten. This looks like yet another year that the mediocre Big12 doesn’t get a playoff spot and once again no playoff win. I may be wrong but I believe the Big12 is the only P5 without a playoff win. If that’s the case on a homer can beat their chest. The Big12 is kinda crappy.
