Ohio State's upcoming Power 5 opponents:

2021 – Oregon
2022 – Notre Dame
2023 – at Notre Dame
2024 – at Washington
2025 – at Texas
2025 – Washington
2026 – Texas
2027 – Alabama
2028 – at Alabama
2030 – at Georgia
2031 – Georgia

Only Texas hasn't made it to the CFP. How many OOC games vs. CFP participants does WVU have scheduled in the future?

they have a home and home with alabama and I think there is discussion about notre dame but don't quote me on that

Herd invades South Bend in 2022...but nothing with our cowardly delusional Cousins in the mix!
the irish figured they would suck and needed a breather game where they could get the jv's some playing time....don't fool yourself........cash your 1000 dollar check and be happy

When I see the Golden Domer's hit Morgantown...I'll believe it that game might take place.

The golden domers have visited Mountaineer Field in the past, but it's been about 20 years. Sooooooooo, when can we look forward to Notre Dame visiting the Joan?? I think we both know the answer to that. Maybe they are chicken too. LOL

No, they just have a much higher place in the pecking order than do our delusional Cousins!

Yes, another defeat for my beloved Mounties! I also remember the beatdown in the Fiesta Bowl!
This couldn't have happened because the Old Fold & Blew was "undefeated" that season. Just ask Tony "the Homer" Caridi and countless other WVU fan boys.

They are the kings of revisionist history....just ask them about the 97 WVU -MU game if you want to get a chuckle!

So what about the '97 game? I seem to recall that the final score said that WVU won that one with a mediocre team that finished the year at 7-5 against the best team Marshall ever fielded. Now give us the typical Marshall mantra of if only, coulda, woulda, shoulda.....and if you want to get a chuckle, look at the score the last time our teams met on the gridiron.

The 97 team was laden with Sophomores, you were close but the best MU was down the road!

undefeated "regular season" is what was said I believe.......big difference
Caridi doesn't make this distinction. He just says, "the undefeated team." He'd make Joseph Goebbels blush with all of his WVU propaganda. Ohio State has had a few truly undefeated full seasons, and a whole bunch more undefeated seasons, if you don't count its last, and most important, game. LOL

Athlon has predicted that WVU will finish the season at 5-7, eighth place in the Big 12 conference. If WVU goes 5-7 or worse, the Honeymoon with Neal Brown will be terminated faster than the Minneapolis Police Department vacated Precinct No. 3.

WVU is not Texas. They can't pay for 50 coaches that are fired every year. Brown will be there 5 years.

I really don't think I would put much stock in what some Athlon writer thinks. They probably also predicted Hillary would win by a landslide.

First, no one said that EKU was a P-5. It would take a meth head like you to think that. If you'd look at our schedule you'd see that we do indeed have a slate that includes 11 P-5's, this year and for the next few years. Eastern Kentucky jumped at a chance to be our annual home gimme game in return for a healthy paycheck. Marshall could be it if they would just accept their place in the pecking order. After all, the Herd is about as highly regarded as EKU in the eyes of the rest of the college football world outside of Cabell County.

Seriously, with Marshall's newly announced $25 million annual athletic budget, how are they going to pay for any gimme teams to play in Huntinghole? Youngstown State has a larger athletic budget, and they don't have to pay to send their teams all over the country to play.

Doc's $700K salary is literally taking food off the school president's table.

I think you'll see Marshall dropping football altogether, or reverting to Division 2 where they really belong.

No, I 'm submitting that comparing WVU to OSU is a false comparison. You are no where in their league and the difference between WVu and MU is no where near as large as between OSU and BGSU. Chickens'!

Wow. Are you guys still carping about that. There is no way, ever, West Virginia will play in Huntington again. It just will not happen. The way Marshall behaved in it's dealings with WVU on so many levels destroyed that opportunity forever for the Herd. It isn't even a remote consideration, and WVU fans don't want the game in any event.

Nobody doubts that Ohio State is one of the largest programs in the country. Texas, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Alabama, LSU, Michigan, Penn State ... they are huge programs financially. But Marshall isn't even remotely close to any Power 5 program. In fact, now they are around the bottom of the mid majors in terms of finances.

Need to develop O Line. Could take anywhere from 1-3 years. I am thinking closer to 3 because of how bad things were.

Neal Brown has what he wants to be in his mind. Much better than short term success and be a team who cannot create off the run

Tell me dogpeckergnat, how many football programs have 11 P-5 teams on their schedule year after year like WVU has? And you call that a powder puff schedule. Dumbass.

Well, this thread is aging well. WVU has one OOC game remaining on its schedule, and it's vs. cream puff Eastern Kentucky.

You're trying to smack talk our schedule when you only have nine games on your schedule, currently, in the middle of a pandemic?

Yeah, you're a f'ucking moron.

Yeah, the bald fraud would qualify his clueless post with the word, "currently." The B1G intends to schedule 10 CONFERENCE games, and the schedule will be announced soon. Enjoy your scrimmage against an FCS school, baldy.

I will just say this - The virus has wreaked havoc on football schedules everywhere. As for me, I will be satisfied if we even have college football this year, which at this point is not a certainty.

College football will be played in the $EC, even if it isn't played on any other campus. I expect the other Power 5 conference schools to play some games, too, due to the enormous amount of dollars at stake, but wouldn't be surprised to see the season end abruptly in response to "fear porn."

I've seen worse predictions from conference media who say WVU goes 2-7 in Big 12 and finishes 9th just ahead of Kansas State. What no Kansas in last! Media is fooled by Les Miles days at LSU. Neal Brown will be at WVU for at least the length of his contract. We will have to put up with Bucky/TVZ retardation comments for that long.

That's because the turds refuse to go to Morgantown to be embarrassed.
Good luck keeping ND under 56. Who will be Marshall coach in 2022?

B1G schedule released: Ohio State will play 10 B1G games, with the Michigan game scheduled for 10/24/20. Michigan @ tOSU should be scheduled on a September date instead, as the season may end before late-October.

You mean one of the many WVU wins over a shit team called Mar Shall. 12-0....You want to play you know where Morgantown is.

Is that Marshall kid still having nightmares about the choke job fumble that cost Mini U their only shot at a victory over the states premier team?

WVU's new (and, likely soon to be canceled) schedule was just released. Good luck with that titanic struggle vs. Eastern Kentucky, and only four road games. Y'all will still suck, if you play at all, that is. And, thanks to your fellow libtards, who are desperate to destroy Trump's economy, as they (and you) are terrified that he would be reelected otherwise, CFB is on life support.
