Arkansas has fired head coach Chad Morris

hasn't been blown out by G5 schools yet--Arkansas plays many more of course.

But Brown has an eked out win vs. an FCS school.

Next year? OOC very tough and conference is always tough.

Arkansas didn't see improvement.

Not sure anyone can honestly say they've seen improvement to date.

At least playing Doege (not sure about spelling) gives some evidence of potential improvement over the last few games.

Arkansas wanted Gus Malzahn to return home
They couldn't get Malzahn so they hired a coach who many believe could be Malzahn.

Their obsession with Malzahn is still there so maybe they worked out a deal with Auburn.
Auburn at times would be happy if Arkansas would take Malzahn.

The entire thing is ridiculous.
If you are going to hire a coach you must give him 3-4 years.

Arkansas just fired Mike Anderson as well
WVU will see when they play St John's in basketball how stupid that was

Pointing out how other schools like FSU, now Arkansas are handling similar situations as to WVU's current situation is not an agenda, just facts about how schools are handling a similar situation.

If its repetitive, its because your coach_god keeps getting blown out repeatedly and is running WVU's Mountaineers into the dirt rapidly, after they just finished a season on the brink of a BIG 12 CCG up until the final game of the season.

WVU's current situation is nothing like Arkansas....you jack off.

We have a first year coach left with minimal talent and a bunch of inexperienced players....and as its been pointed out...Arkansas has lost repeatedly to G5 schools....

So try again twat.

You are the only person here that thinks the two situations are similar...again..you spin anything for your I hate Neal narrative that you are spamming this board with.

How are they different? Those two ADs realized their mistake and moved on. Meanwhile back on the farm WVU AD embarrassed himself and the program and now boxed everyone into showing “patience” with Brown losing. Pathetic.

Lies won't make WVU better.

Despite the excuser dujour, WVU had more than enough return to win multiple games this year. Would have won at least 7 under the previous staff. Brown himself touted up the RBs before the season--a corps that was supposed to be the cream of the crop of the BIG 12. Has them at the bottom of major college football pretty much. An offense that was rated top ten with the previous staff and several players returned--is now in the dregs.

Kansas state returned lower regarded players and is winning at a much higher level--even beat then top 5 OU with lots of former coaches players from lesser ranked classes, JUCO's and transfers--you know, the players that supposedly made the second winningest coach ever at WVU so "bad".

WVU is not being coached well, and there isn't an honest person here that believes the team looks to be improving at all. Its getting worse.

Dude take a victory lap. I can’t stand you but now you’re just abusing homers.

WVU doesn't play G5 schools. Only P5 and #1 or #2 FCS teams. WVU OCC has been tougher than any Big 12 School.

So you want WVU to fire their coach after 9 games. Who is going to pay the 4 million dollar buyout? Who is going to pay the new coach 3.5 million to come here? Will you bitch and moan about the new guy when he can't win for 3 years?

Thank God you have no say in the matter. All you do is cry like a woman on your menstrual cycle. If you don't know what that is ask your mommy.

You're nothing but a troll.

Vernon please ban this tool.

Stupidity won't make WVU better either.

Obviously Brown is trying to learn on the job. Trying different plays that probably worked in the sunbelt but that fail miserably at the P5 level.

He appears to be a poor evaluator of talent as well--takes him a long time to figure out his best players.

If Brown and co have an outing next season like this one, then he'll likely be a short timer.

WVU can't be awful going into the early 2020's.

While troll Allen and co appear to have a hard on for Brown, as for me, I hope for WVU football to be successful. Doesn't matter who is coaching, just needs to be successful and continue with WVU's winning tradition. It had been winning lots of games, and now its not.

Brown and co look lost and there isn't any indication they'll improve things anytime soon.

Says the troll that hates WVU and Brown.

Lying hypocrite troll Buckaineer the biggest mistake wvu has made to this point was not firing holgorsen after 2015. Holgorsen ran wvu into the ground. You tell us the last years team was a big 12 contender. Well last years team ended the season losing to a weak Oklahoma state teams. then getting beaten at home by an Oklahoma team with one of the weakest defenses in college football. To top that off that got embarrassed by a weak Syracuse team in a middle of the rung bowl game. The last 2 wvu bowls games were some of the worst coaching in the modern history of wvu.

Lying hypocrite Troll Buckaineer. Dana was lucky that Stewart left him Geno, Tavon and Stedman, if it weren't for that his a$$ would have been fired years ago. Dana left Brown a mess. Dana wrecked wvu and now he is wrecking Houston.

aggy Chad was a negative recruiter.
He pretty much recruited every school negativity and because he is a Texas A&M grad had a huge disdain for Texas. Almost to a Gary Patterson level.

Even with all that and those G5 losses deserved another season.

Neal Brown went young this year and you won't see the benefits until maybe late in Year 2.
You see how inconsistent WVU actually is right now.

Neal Brown is no where close to getting fired and needs 3 years to get his program in position to win 8+ games.

Haven't read a word of this post other than the headline. Just skimmed down to see who posted here. I see we have our troll all-star team here.

Guarantee this thread has already gone to crap.

You'd have to apply your logic with Brown to Holgorsen at Houston--but then again, why do you imbeciles keep talking up Houston? Houston doesn't have the level of athletes WVU does anyway--where were their recruiting classes prior to Holgorsen?

I care about WVU, and Brown has WVU playing awfully in every aspect.

Its not the players fault, many are talented--certainly more highly recruited than KSUs players and that first year coach is doing fine with what he inherited.

Meanwhile all WVU fans get are excuses and "wait". WVU shouldn't have to "wait"--the old staff would already have WVU bowl eligible and winning at least 7 games, probably 8.

WVU is only "starting over" because the new staff is learning on the job and not prepared to coach at this level and it shows. The players that haven't left appear to have given up on the lousy teaching they are getting.
