Kessel and Malkin earn the assists on the Cole goal.
Kessel is the only player this postseason with at least 10 goals and 10 assists.
Well, we usually feel decent after the 1st period :wink: but I myself thought Murray looked better and more confident than he did in Game 3. Too bad we don't get anything for winning the 1st period.
And I'll also give Dumoulin credit on that shot when he got open up the slot; at least his.....like so many other Penguins shots thus far in the series....didn't hit Jones dead on the Sharks' nose. In fact, Jones might have been lucky it caught the knob of his stick (or maybe a bit of the waffleboard).

And that's another thing CM...MOST improved on the Pens backend this season? Dumoulin in a landslide imo....where is Pavelski? Just ask Dumoulin. I got him he says! [thumb2]
It's funny how that works. Kind of like when your team is on the PK as opposed to when they are on the PP.
Had a much better shot on the right wing than that one though. He tried to get cute with the perfect pass to Bonino.
And how bout the one by 58...yikes...nice save but still wanna see him stand up a bit more....
Team is really zoned in....1 more boys. Sid playing 200 ft, Geno fully engaged, timely goalkeeping, outstanding D play, role players doing their level best....can we ask for anything more???

First 2 goal lead in the 3rd period thus far in the series for the Pens....hope that's a good omen. Meanwhile, Sid's line has been blanked (in terms of SOG) thus far, though I feel Sid and Hornqvist have both been very active.
He has had a fantastic game and a very good series. I have also been impressed with Ben Lovejoy tonight.
SJ was starting to really pinch in late in the second (even before their power play.) I look for them to do even more of it the rest of the way. I anticipate a breakaway or odd-man rush goal for the good guys.
