Denver business owner calls out city for payments to BLM protesters after 'devastating' losses from 2020 riots

Yep...More Democrat policies in the news, @Soaring Eagle 74, @moe and @bamaEER.

When the left riots, they get paid by the government (taxpayers) Maybe that's why you bleaters vote for destructive Democrat policies?

Democrats are lunatics. Not only did the left's rioting cause $billions in damages, they were bailed out of jail by the likes of Crazy Commie-La Harris AND they are getting paid for causing the damage and the deaths of some....Including a retired police officer

Tell me bleaters....Do you seriously not see the two-tiered justice system? Really? The riot in Washington wasn't near as bad and those on the right are going to prison. Do you truly think that's fair?

Riot on the left get praise and PAID! Riot on the right go directly to jail and do not pass go. And bleaters applaud it. SMH

Democrats, their policies and their bleaters are destroying our country

LINK: A Denver business owner spoke out Thursday against the city, expressing his frustration that it agreed to pay millions to Black Lives Matter protesters that "devastated" storefronts in the area during the 2020 George Floyd riots.

Zach Monks, who owns Sole St. Shoes, said he lost $170,000 worth of merchandise due to the riots, but he never received a penny from the city despite the million-dollar payout to BLM protesters.

"I'm frustrated with the city for sure, for the lack of support that they've shown all the businesses downtown," Monks said on "Fox & Friends."

"It's been devastating… It'll probably take us anywhere from five to 10 years to recover from what happened," he continued.

City councilors agreed to the settlement unanimously earlier this week, agreeing to pay $4.7 million to settle the class-action lawsuit. The latest development brings the grand total of payments in settlements and verdicts to more than $20 million.

According to the lawsuit, Denver police allegedly unfairly targeted protesters for violating the city's 8 p.m. curfew while not enforcing the same rules for other bystanders.

It also claimed hundreds were taken to jail during the protests when they should have been ticketed for curfew violations instead.

Despite the city's pushback, it agreed to the settlement because of the "burdensome and expensive" nature of the lawsuit.

Co-host Steve Doocy asked Monks if the rioters who ravaged his business had been held accountable for the damage done to his company and others in the area.

"None that I'm aware of," Monks responded. "We provided the city with the information that we had, the videos and everything that was posted, even to social media."

He also said he wasn't certain city officials even tried to locate the perpetrators.

Nonetheless, he urged the city to take action in order to protect business owners like himself moving forward.

Monks called on city officials to foster an environment in which businesses like his can flourish, saying something must be done about open-air drug use and the homeless population.

"The biggest thing the city can do for us is just make it a viable place to do business going forward," he said. "The money… from the loss, it's almost too late to replace that. Those businesses are already gone. We just need a viable place to do business."

"Make it a safe and… clean environment… where… people are willing to come down and… experience what we have to offer downtown," he continued.

Florida school board forced to remove dozens of books after parents read 'graphic' passages aloud

Just more Democrat policy in the news, @Soaring Eagle 74, @moe and @bamaEER. See what your messiahs are doing while you in Trump's crotch? Next time you come up for air, instead of posting about Trump's crotch, take a good look at what Democrats are doing to our country, with their policies. Stop voting blindly and out of hatred. It took Republican/Conservative policy to stop it too.

Democrats take one on the chin. Strike up another win for the good guys! I know you guys call out banning books containing pornography and pedophilia, but you're blind with hatred. Why are you in favor having these books in our schools for children, when the school board stops parents from reading aloud because it's too graphic for even adults to listen to? You blindly vote for Democrat policies, so you can't say you're against it. Democrats and their bleaters are perverts.

EXCERPT: A Florida school board voted unanimously to remove several dozen books from school shelves after concerned citizens read graphic excerpts from the hotly debated novels.

The board decided to remove the books in question because of a rule signed by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in May that states parents "shall have the right to read passages from any material that is subject to an objection."

Under HB 1069, if a school board denies parents the right to read passages considered "pornographic" or "harmful to minors," the school district must discontinue the use of such materials.

In one viral video posted to social media, Pastor John K. Amanchukwu Sr. was interrupted by the board while reading the book "13 Reasons Why" by Jay Asher.

"As if letting him finger me was going to cure all my problems," Amanchukwu Sr. read from the book.

"Sir, I'll stop you there," one board member responded.

"The difference now is, HB 1069 has allowed parents to read explicit books at board meetings. And if they get shut down, then the book is immediately removed. This is a good thing," she added. "It is the litmus test for acceptable age appropriate and standards driven library books. If you can't read them at a board meeting, then you can't have them in our schools. All that is needed now is for a "passage" to be read and the book can be removed immediately. The superintendent and board members refused to acknowledge the gross content made available to kids until now. Finally, they don't have a choice. It's about time the truth be made known. Explicit, sexually graphic, pornographic, and obscene material does not belong in any school."

Washington Post fact-checker busts several of Pedo-Joe's go-to personal stories: 'Tradition of embellishing'

Nothing but a lying olf fool

Democrats, their policies and their bleaters are destroying our country

LINK: 'Pedo-Joe’s propensity to exaggerate or embellish tales about his life led to doubts about his truthfulness,' fact-checker writes

EXCERPT: The fact-checker began with Pedo-Joe's most recent exaggerated story. He wrote, "At least six times as president, mostly recently in comments to Hurricane Idalia victims Wednesday, Pedo-Joe has exaggerated the extent of a fire that occurred at his house in 2004."

In those retellings, Kessler noted how Pedo-Joe, then a U.S. senator from Delaware, had claimed "a couple firefighters" almost died, how his 1967 Corvette was nearly destroyed, and that a "significant portion" of his house burned.

The fact-checker corrected the record, saying, "The contemporary news accounts in the Wilmington News Journal and The Associated Press are much less dramatic."

Citing the outlets, he added, "’Pedo-Joe’s house on Barley Mill Road was reported hit by lightning at 8:16 a.m., emergency officials said,’ the News Journal reported. ‘There were no injuries and firefighters kept the fire contained to one room.’

"Cranston Heights Fire Co. Chief George Lamborn told the newspaper the flames did not spread from the kitchen. ‘Luckily, we got it pretty early. The fire was under control in 20 minutes.’"

Says thinks Greene will be the starter and are Prepared for RPO offense with 11 personnel (meaning 1 rb and 1 te) and are prepared to see CJ as that 1 rb. That's different from a 2 back option 1 te set that we think neal will run. (21 personnel).

Been busy with my musical projects

I hope all is well with my fellow Mountaineers faithful. Looking forward to WVU (hopefully) putting on an entertaining fight against the institution of higher learning that put athletics above the safety of young children. Then hired a coach under investigation for covering up a violent gang rape of a woman who was volunteering to help the football program.

While I am excited to have collegiate football back, with what should be an amazing matchup for West Virginia fans, I am saddened at how quickly PSU has been accepted back into society. Oh well lets pray for a good showing and I'll now get off my soap box. Not trying to make it political. I just wanted to throw some blame to these rich men north of Richmond.

Boy PSU fans sure are touchy

Not Sandusky touchy but…guy comes into my the office telling the other guy he wishes he was going to the game this weekend. I say ‘to watch the kiddie-diddlers? Ya know kids blew and Joe knew?’ He went on about how PSU never thinks about WVU except when they’re playing. Ya I know, they’re playing this weekend right? And don’t tell me PSU fans never called WVU fans hicks, hillbillies, or made incest comments because I’ve heard them at games. Told him to GTFOH if he can’t handle spittin the cold hard facts. Probably won’t see him the rest of the day.
