You know I haven't always been easy on Garrett. He doesn't blow me away with his arm, even the strength of his arm, like some of you but the one thing that has impressed me since day one is his desire to be a team player and do whatever he can to help the program. He plays hard on every down, he strives to make his teammates better and he never complains. You can find a more talented QB but you'll have a tough time finding a better teammate and representative of what WVU football is all about.

And it’s nice to see republicans finally starting to deal with him.

So I am not a Mormon, or ever really considered myself one, but I was raised in a Mormon church and my oldest sister attended BYU. So kind of a neat game for me. I was baptized at 8 years old, but never (even at a young age) bought into the religion, specifically the North American spin and Joseph Smith. So I stopped attending at 16, when my parents gave me the decision. My sister obviously stayed with it and attended BYU, her first year Ty Detmer won the Heisman.

Anyway, super nice people, very family oriented, and the wealthiest church per capita in the world. Maintream Mormons don't practice polygamy, do believe in the Bible, just added another doctrine in, and they fund a high % of things like the Boy Scouts, etc...

I do clearly remember Mormon missionaries who served in Morgantown referring to the city as "Babylon". Which does make me laugh now...

Now that Trump's attorney John Eastman is allowed to present his defense in his disbarment trial, it's frankly incredible all the evidence coming out about election fraud in 2020 that was never allowed to come out in the election challenges. Former Wisconsin Supreme Court Judge Michael Gableman, who the legislature contracted with to conduct a small investigation into the election, is currently discussing the bombshell revelation about how election officials removed the requirement to have bipartisan observers present when collecting votes from nursing homes, and so the sheriff referred the election officials for criminal charges. The election officials (WEC) said during a meeting that was videotaped that they knew they were breaking the law by telling the clerks to disregard the law and just mail the ballots to nursing home residents.

Twin brothers Matt and Ryan Bewley, former five-star prospects who signed to play basketball at Chicago State this season, sued the NCAA in federal court after they were denied eligibility for receiving money they say was generated from their name, image and likeness while competing for Overtime Elite Academy.

The federal antitrust lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court in Chicago on Wednesday, accuses the NCAA of violating its own NIL policies, the Illinois Student-Athlete Endorsement Rights Act and federal antitrust laws.
