Early Thanksgiving and Christmas List Wish

Lord, I pray that...
  • we only recruit mobile QB's at WVU in the future
  • whatever HC Neal Brown is on, may he stay that way
  • we find more players like Lee Kapoga and Ben Cutter at LB
  • Kole Taylor can play for 2 more years please....we have a weapon at Tight End
  • our boy Michael Hayes...can he please play for 4 more years
  • whatever is going on with the defensive backfield in recent games may it continue in abundance
  • these boys want to stay at WVU...the DL, the young OL, J White, each and every one
Oh....and one more thing. Please send more fans like BYU to our humble abode...the fans and the team were quite classy. Carrying a flag on the field and honoring our rendition of Country Roads (according to a fine Blue Lot post and poster @Dubllineers) was above and beyond the call of any expectation we might have.

I don't usually ask for this much, so I will receive whatever you give us.....

So be it.

Kleiman and KSU...

Just gagged on one of the dumbest 4 play series to blow a huge win that I've ever seen. After a great comeback and 1st and goal from the 6 they run three of the most predictable, slow developing plays in the book, then moronically go for it on 4th and 4 when a FG ties it . Predictably, disaster ensued and they gave Texas an undeserved win in a game KSU had begun to completely dominate and very probably would have won in the 2nd OT. It was Neal Brown at his worst level stupidity.

I fvcking hate those dickless Longhorns..

WVSPORTS.COM Players postgame press conference summary

RB Jahiem White is up first.

-- White has focused on his preparation and mindset at practice that has helped him.

-- Today, White said everything worked well for him. He said it felt great to get carries and get in a groove at the college football level. His reaction is to get the ball and go for the endzone.

-- White sasy the room is talented and those running backs can go really far. On outside runs, White is looking at the safeties to read the run and 'just go.' The offensive line puts a lot of work in and they're really good.

-- White says him and Donaldson talk about what they see on the field together when they're on the sideline. White sees himself as a "scat back" and the more explosive one while Donaldson is more of a power back.

-- White is excited to play in the environment at Oklahoma. He says he's humble and can keep his composure and he doesn't set goals, they just happen and he lets his work take over. White says he should have scored on a play against a safety where he was one-on-one .

-- White says the game has slowed down for him a lot now and he's sat down with OC Chad Scott to see blitz pickups and other things that are there are for him to learn. White says they've put in the work in practice to monitor what they do to have more fun and not let up. The offense has energy for White.

-- White says him and Donaldson are jsut too different and it's hard to make comparisons to their game. White says he likes all of the run schemes and no one can see him around the big offensive lineman, especially on zone plays.
