--That's certainly a challenging 20-game slate which starts out difficult and doesn't have a lot of time to catch your breath at any point. The Mountaineers open up on the road at Kansas and then get Oklahoma State before playing Arizona, Houston and Iowa State all within the first six league games.
--I do like how the Big 12 packaged the trip to Utah in one deal going to BYU and then Utah within three days of each other. That should certainly save on some travel and the Big 12 does the same thing for those two teams coming to Morgantown earlier in the schedule. But the opposite can be said for the back-to-back road trips to Cincinnati and then TCU, but at least the trip to Cincinnati is relatively close.
--West Virginia gets four Saturday Big 12 games Oklahoma State, Iowa State, Utah and UCF. Not the most needle moving slate.
--Interestingly the Mountaineers have two Sunday games scheduled with the road trips to Colorado Jan. 12 and to Cincinnati Feb. 2.
