MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (October 20, 2024) – The Big 12 Conference has announced that WVU's Saturday, Oct. 26, Big 12 Conference football game against Arizona at Arizona Stadium in Tucson, Arizona, will be televised on FS1 at 7 p.m., ET.



West Virginia’s next home game is on Saturday, Nov. 16, when it plays host to Baylor, presented by GoMart. The Baylor game will be military appreciation and Mountaineer Week. The game time will be announced on Monday, Nov. 3.

We gave up 45 points. Worst of the season. Had another pass completed for 60 yards with no one touching the receiver.

Are we getting any closer to at least forcing an in-season change on the defense?

Are they really going to let this thing simmer without throwing out a sacrificial lamb somewhere to calm the masses?

I think the fact there have been almost no meaningful changes in 6 years is contributing to the frustration. Not only is Brown failing, there have been very few visible changes to indicate an attempt to do anything different.

And nothing has improved. Any team with a decent passer will beat us. Every team left on our schedule can throw. I think at AZ will be a tossup, but Baylor, at TT, UCF, at Cincinnati will likely be losses.

Is anyone else really close to losing it if they have to read one more joke about Brown's comments? The nonstop jokes may be worse than the original comment.

This weekend's game may very well seal Neal's fate, and it could also determine whether I’m able to avoid losing my mind. There is no way a jury would convict me if I snap, right?

He’s a Chillicothe, Ohio kid. I started taking him to games when he was in junior high school.

He is like most Ohio kids in that he’s a 0$U fan. But he’s been to enough games at both WVU and 0$U to know that the atmosphere in Morgantown is far superior to that in Columbus.

He played at an Ohio athletic conference college until he messed up his shoulder. Getting married, having kids, and moving to the Cleveland area prevented him from getting the chance to attend a game with me.

As we sat there waiting for kickoff last night he turned to me and said, “this is a special place.”

We left with about 4 minutes to go. We both had enough.
