Polls said he had a chance in 2000 too, said we'd take the Senate in 2022 as well. I put zero faith in polls.

It's all about winning. Period. If you think Trump gives the GOP the best chance at winning the White House in 2024, then great, you have your candidate. I don't. I think he seals it for the Dems and were left with an infighting GOP that accomplishes nothing because they've never learned how to win.
The evangelicals got their wish with abortion, and while I don't disagree with the logic of the ruling Scotus made, the "ban all abortion, no exception crowd" is costing the the party state and local elections. As well as probably cost the Senate.
For those saying they won't let him win I will assume you mean they plan on cheating. I'll also assume you are ok with that.
Cheating? If stuffing ballot boxes, pushing mail-in voting, late night ballot boxes appearing, harvesting, water leaks shutting down vote centers, etc. Then yes, they will use every shenanigan to win.

That's fine. Isn't it wonderful WE (the voters) get to decide? I'm concerned about all the attempts to smear him (Trump) and even keep him off the ballots! If everyone who's against him is so sure he can't win, why not just vote for the guy with the better policies to beat him? What's with all the Lawfare, and ballot harvesting, and court trials and everything else trying to make sure he doesn't run or even keeping his supporters from voting for him?
I get it plenty of folks don't like Trump. Wouldn't their efforts however be better spent on getting behind the candidate who they think easily beats him instead of trying to make sure HE can't win?
Yes they will do everything in their power to stop him except find a better candidate or better policies to beat him with. That's why they're doing all the rest of the caca, because otherwise they'd lose and they know it.
They have to cheat if they're going to win. They cannot offer Americans a better agenda or a better candidate than Trump and it drives them insane doing or saying insane things.
Why is the other position on the Left...ie: unrestricted abortions at any time for any reason paid for by taxpayers... not costing Democrats in those same races? I'd argue it is, but it's not reported that way.
Still you rarely if ever see Leftists defending unlimited, unrestricted abortions at any time for any reason. In fact the official position of the Democrat party is no limits & no restrictions on abortion at any time for any reason! (that includes late term abortions) That is the official position of the Democrat party. How many Democrats do you see willing to defend that position, or even admit that IS their position?

Instead of debating "abortion " they need to debate " life" or when life begins. Democrats have worded as if men want to take women's rights away and people won't except that no matter the cost...

Republicans need to learn how the left words every topic or debate . In the abortion fight they need to debate when life begins to start with. Then debate the babies rights to life . That takes the women's rights off the table . Democrats know how to make plays on democracy.....they call themselves socialists fighting for democracy....yeah Republicans need to redefine the abortion fight from women's rights to the babies rights .
I 100% agree with you...the baby's rights (particularly its right to Life) is never discussed in this debate. We have a poster in this thread who characterized the debate as "lame" but when he was asked what exactly is "lame" about defending an innocent baby's life from wanton slaughter he left the thread. What you say here @roadtrasheer is of course correct but as I mentioned, as a culture we have embraced "death" so the innocent Life of the baby you so eloquently pointed out in your post is not allowed to be discussed in this debate!
You and I being Pro Life know why the baby's life is never allowed to be part of this discussion. It's because the pro death crowd would lose the debate. 🤔

@roadtrasheer almost every night here in Atlanta, there are multiple shootings and deaths. Typically over drugs or territorial gang disputes, but also over silly sh*t. Just the other day, a 14 year old boy was shot over an argument that broke out at a local convenience store! An argument! The same type we used to get into fist fights over when we were teens, are now settled with gunfire and death.
This is what the "culture of death" has reaped...and we have sown it with our disregard for Life in its infancy.

I'll try to honestly and respectfully answer that. You think the election is all about Trump. It isn't. Sure he's the object, but this is so much more about the type of country we're facing if he's not elected. Why you don't see that and instead think it's only about him, his tweets, his ego, his image, etc is as surprising to me as it is disappointing.
As I said earlier I thought you were better informed and more aware of how our Freedoms and way of Life are under direct assault? Laura Ingraham basically just said the same thing. Also repeated what I said about they will do this to whoever comes after Trump. Called out Republicans who haven't defended him. But she's probably not "conservative" enough for Chicom Coop.
I didn't see Ingraham's take on this election, but if she said something similar to what I posted to @TarHeelEer , I agree with her 100%.
Our country is under assault. We are being invaded. Anyone who doesn't understand this obviously doesn't care, or actually prefers to see America collapse or ultimately defeated. We're fighting for our country, not Trump.

I'm voting for Trump. Why? Because what they have done to him can't be allowed to stand. I say that knowing I don't agree with him on everything. But that's where alot of people are. Nothing anymore posts here is going to change that for me or them. The days are coming when they wish they had Trump back.

They hate Trump and us. That isn't for the same reasons. They hate Trump because he slowed their efforts down by being elected in 2016. They hate us because of our beliefs. Trump does not share those beliefs. Why not try to elect someone who will fight the swamp with our beliefs?
