Team lost today but but most importantly may have lost another starting pitcher for the year. Michael Grove left the game early with elbow pain. Hopefully it's nothing serious and only requires a few weeks of rest. But knowing how WVU is ****ing cursed, it's probably serious and requires Tommy John surgery especially since they still have not given any updates.
If Grove is done, that will make 2 weekend starters done for the year. Conner Dotson broke a bone in his shoulder a few weeks ago. It will be a devastating blow. We have some pretty talented young prospects but they are just freshmen with no real experience. Relying on them will be too much to ask. We already have 1 freshman who took over Conner Dotson's Sunday role which is Alek Manoah.
