Wow, the mighty Errs are killing it in the Big XII

Did the Big 12 not give the Ears recognition over winning the conference pop gun shootin' contest, despite the fact that they're the only school in the conference that partakes in this thing that's supposedly considered a sport?

For years now, the Mountaineers have buttered their bread with offensive players that provide more in the way of results than fanfare. Harley closes that gap after a strong offseason where he impressed at several Rivals Camp Series events and showed that he is as reliable a pass-catcher as he is speedy. While he is somewhat slight in stature, he is West Virginia’s highest-rated player in this class, and continues to give the program a top-level recruit from south Florida, where the program has a long-established pipeline to talent.

I would say that you guys have a strong hold on the mvu tag. I have seen several posters claim a win during losses at the hands of other teams since joining the big twelve. Hell, one poster tried bragging about what an entertaining ass beating the tcu game was last year. And, the "competitive" line is one that is often used to try to soften the blow of being a conference bottom feeder.

I have said this many times but the greenies just still don't get it. These people believe success should come quickly and easily. They have zero concept of paying your dues as you slowly rise up the ladder of success. This is why they want WVU(or anyone else) to make things easier for them....i.e. home games with big payouts. Simply doesn't work that way. Real programs crawl before they walk and run. MU doesn't get that.

You would have to prove those statements, in context.

I've never seen anybody do any of those things, but you Marshall fans claim every moral victory you can ... because you can't actually beat us on the scoreboard.

Once again the buzzard cannot stay on topic. This is about the impressive accolades the Ears have received since being in the Big XII. Marshall University is no part of this discussion.

Take the Herd's path and it would be easy. Join an FCS conference masquerading as an FBS conference and you have the formula for 10 meaningless wins, with the biggest "reward" being a bowl game against a .500 team, no one watching and "others receiving votes."...Oh yeah....and a $200,000 contract.
