I have seen the secret service in action when Bush visited Parkersburg. I was watching from the 10th floor of the United building. Snipers on rooftops everywhere.

I’m listening to a book by Evy Poumpouras called Becoming Bulletproof. She is/was a secret service agent for four different First Families, from Bush Sr to Obama. Pretty good read/listen.
One of the many things I took away from this book is that, as she tells her story, you have no idea whether she’s left, or right. Pretty refreshing.
