I'll do better than that, in your "perfect season" of 1988 you only beat two teams with a winning record.
So, you went back 28 years when WVU was Independent?
Lol...What conference title did it share?

One game wonders just like Boise, Utah, Houston, UCF, TCU and every other mid-major that won their big bowl game.
You posted it twice and still gailed to answer his question. Moron.I'll do better than that,

Let's not forget that the 1988 WVU team handed Penn State one of their worst beatdown's in school history: 51-30...that's after calling off the dogs when we were up 41-7 at half. We defeated a ranked Pitt team at their place and Maryland, VT were good.
They went 6-5 in 1988. Maryland was good? I guess if you consider 5-6 a good year.
Well kitty, you told me they sucked so I have learn that a team with only six wins sucks. Thanks. Want to talk about all the 3 win teams you played that year?
Our schedule in 1988 was weak. That was not our fault because we played historically good programs. Penn State won a title around that time.Let's not forget that the 1988 WVU team handed Penn State one of their worst beatdown's in school history: 51-30...that's after calling off the dogs when we were up 41-7 at half. Which ain't the same as a visit to the Swamp! No day at the beach! We've only played them in bowl games and we are 1-1 against them.
So playing Florida one time at their place is big time? Cool.Which ain't the same as a visit to the Swamp! No day at the beach!
If you go to the beach one day every 20 years I guess.Which ain't the same as a visit to the Swamp! No day at the beach!
