As could I about Scalise.I like Jim Jordan. Again, I could be completely wrong.

I love a lot of those guys. All of them have a chance when Trump is done. None of them have a chance until Trump is gone o until Trump knights them.As could I about Scalise.
Piers Morgan gave a good description of Trump—Frankenstein’s monster.I love a lot of those guys. All of them have a chance when Trump is done. None of them have a chance until Trump is gone o until Trump knights them.
Realistically that is it right now.
Pritzker????? You must be kidding. I did a ton of food service work for the Pritzkers (Hyatt)......total assholes. They hate Trump, but they don’t like any potential democrat candidates for president except Kennedy or maybe Whitmer or Pritzker. Most have told me if they can’t get someone like Kennedy, their next choice is DeSantis. Since none of those Dems will get the nomination, about the only way the GOP can lose the White House is to nominate Trump.

The way the primaries work are not indicative of how the general works. The hard core registered republicans will vote for Trump. The conservative minded independents can’t vote in most state primaries so they can’t influence the primary. They’re shut out. You tend to usually have the hard core base drive the primary candidate and then in the general, the candidate will “run to the middle”. There is no running to the middle for Trump. Independents by and in large aren’t going to vote for Trump because of his personality. It’s just a fact. They would absolutely vote for DeSantis as an alternative to Biden.DeSantis can't beat Trump unless the DOJ keeps interfering with the election. But he can beat the Democrat machine? Too Funny. You are starting to sound like controlled opposition.

That is what he has become perhaps but what would be the public perception of Trump if we lived in a somewhat realistic world where media actually tried to be fair?Piers Morgan gave a good description of Trump—Frankenstein’s monster.
Without a doubt, Trump’s public perception is heavily altered because of the media coverage and coordinated efforts to vilify him. Many people think he’s a racists because of misleading sound bits and failures to recognize the pro-minority initiatives he undertook. Yet, his own loutish behavior feeds the misperception. That is what he has become perhaps but what would be the public perception of Trump if we lived in a somewhat realistic world where media actually tried to be fair?
In the matrix Trump is Frankenstein monster.

That really makes no sense...your Democrat friends don't like any Dems unless the GOP nominates Trump, then they'll vote for any Dem besides him? They hate Trump, but they don’t like any potential democrat candidates for president except Kennedy or maybe Whitmer or Pritzker. They think he’s worse for the country than Biden even though they don’t like Biden or Harris. They’re tradition liberals: pro social programs, pro abortion, pro gay rights but not Marxists. They’re (irrationally IMO) never-Trumpers. But they are also very pro free speech and pro First Amendment. They fear the Marxists more than DeSantis, but Trump more than the Marxists. That really makes no sense...your Democrat friends don't like any Dems unless the GOP nominates Trump, then they'll vote for any Dem besides him?

Like I said, you’re not emotionally stable enough to handle a difference of opinion. You think if I’m not a Trump worshiper I must be anti-Trump.Well Trump going to win the nomination unless the DOJ finds a way to screw him over. Are you going to Vote for him? Or are you rooting for the DOJ?
Yea, it makes complete sense. You guys don’t get for some reason just how badly Trump is hated by some people. I’ve been trying to tell you all. Are people unhappy with the country and Biden? Absolutely! Would they vote for Trump to change it? Nope. That really makes no sense...your Democrat friends don't like any Dems unless the GOP nominates Trump, then they'll vote for any Dem besides him?

He’ll answer that question or he won’t. I’ve been interacting with Cajun long enough to know that you’re not intellectually equipped to pin him down and paint him into any binary reality. I don’t say this as demeaning to you in any way. He’s a different level, more wisdom. He’s like the board’s Thomas Sowell. Better to just listen and learn.I said I would vote for DeSantis if he won fairly without the interference of the DOJ. Are you going to vote for Trump if he wins the nomination? It's a simple question.
“If he won fairly.” If DeSantis won there’s no chance you’d say he won fairly. I can’t imagine I’d vote for anyone but the Republican nominee. I twice voted for Trump.I said I would vote for DeSantis if he won fairly without the interference of the DOJ. Are you going to vote for Trump if he wins the nomination? It's a simple question.
I disagree. If he can’t beat Trump, he wouldn’t even get the chance, obvi. He would be able to court much more of the middle and hold the line on the base, minus the butthurt Trumpers. If DeSantis can't beat Trump he can't beat the Democrat machine. No amount of mental gymnastics is going to change that. Matter of fact he better do it without interference.

I think the best chance Trump has is with DeSantis as VP and Ron doing a job explaining to people why the media has brainwashed them and imploring them to give Trump a chanceI disagree. Thank you for your service. Maybe try EMDR.

And yet I responded
Honestly, as toxic as Trump is to the independents, I just can’t see anyone that has designs for a political future tying themselves to Trump. He’s radioactive.I think the best chance Trump has is with DeSantis as VP and Ron doing a job explaining to people why the media has brainwashed them and imploring them to give Trump a chance
You think I’m orange man bad? WTF? I want the WhiteHouse, I don’t give a fvck who it is from the GOP. I think Trump has the least chance of getting it in the general. I’ll happily vote for him if he wins the primary. My vote in the primary will be to someone I think can win. To me, voting for Trump in the Primary is like voting for a 3rd party candidate in the general. It’s a protest vote with no real chance of winning the WhiteHouse. With orange man bad nonsense. How's Nikki Halley polling?

2022 proved how radioactive he is. The GOP underperformed in key races because of him.
I think Trump likely wins the Primary. I don’t think that’s the best answer for the general. I will vote for him in the General. I won’t in the Primary. You aren’t going to change my mind.

I think this is spot on.They are varying levels of liberal, but none of them are “woke.” Several of them are Bill Maher-like.
Trump is the most easily beatable candidate of the GOP field. Few independents will vote for him and even less democrats. The GOP candidate will need a lot of independents and a few Democrats to vote for him/her to become president.
sometimes I think this way about medicine. I really do.It is hard to attract people of integrity into politics. I think highly of Steve Scalise.
If I ever voted that way I would too. But there may be options this time around. I absolutely can't conceive voting for Biden or Harris.Trump IS my protest vote!
I just mean for all the arguments against Trump...I'm voting for him just because of all the crap he's had to put up with and been fully exonerated.. If he doesn't win the primary, any Republican gets my vote over a Democrat but as things stand now I think the GOP nod is his to lose. I don't see a Democrat beating him, no matter how many folks dislike him because he's innocent even with all the smears & anyone else the other side runs means the country is finished. (that's why they're so desperate to stop him)If I ever voted that way I would too. But there may be options this time around. I absolutely can't conceive voting for Biden or Harris.
Trump got elected in part because of his strong stand on enforcing illegal immigration and controlling our border. The border right now is a mess and many Blacks are upset so many of these folks are being allowed in and getting set up with free room & board, cell phones, clothing, EBT cards and Democrat voter registrations. A lot of Blacks will vote for Trump upset over that issue alone.I think this is spot on.
Trump did what he needed to do......to fight a corrupt media and to expose more on what so many knew about the corruption of the media, but, he is paying a price now for it. Plus, for me, Hillary isn't president. She should never be president. She is up there with many of the known global corrupt people. Trump improved black unemployment liberals could never achieve and that I am grateful for and he did the best with the border in the time he had. The highlighted exposure he stirred up of the complicit nature of the media as connected to American liberalism (another form of socialism) casted more doubt on the trust America has for the media. The media is poison and he contributed to exposing their toxic nature.
Trump is done. Blacks will not vote for him.
