Neil Brown has had plenty of time to show that he is this same thing that he looks like. He's just an average coach. But the win-loss record is only one part of it. This man has the worst post game press conferences I've ever heard in my life. Nobody that I have ever heard makes as many excuses as WVU football coach Neil Brown. He is the weakest person I have ever seen in his position and there is no way you'll ever convince me that he will build a real winner here. He's such a weakling he would be totally offended by someone like Bowden being hard on his team and demanding excellence. Neil Brown doesn't demand excellence lol. He coaches a player led team which means he's just not a real natural leader of men. You can see it in his demeanor it's not just the football games. It's almost as if we have a teenage boy coaching the team. He should have already been fired.
I never thought I would miss holgerson because he left a lot to be desired, but we had a way more exciting team under him and the whole entire Vibe of the football team was better. On and off the field. Even the media talked about us in a different light because we weren't just some boring team with a lame ass boring coach like we are now. Neil Brown has brought in the most boring era of football in a long time for wvu.

You can mention Holgorsen's record prior to 2013 but you didn't mention that one of those seasons was in the big east. Just like you overlooked the loss against Kansas when trying to tout a win against Oklahoma State. WVU was more like Kansas than it was Oklahoma state, but I guess a simple-minded fool like you can't figure that out especially when you're a 4-win team.
Once again, I did not tout the OSU win in 2013. I pretty much said it shows even a blind squirrel can find an acorn. The fact that we got crushed by Kansas along with several other teams that season means you need to look at the season in totality instead of cherry picking single wins as you are. Point to any 4 year span of a WVU coach since 1970 where there were no ranked wins and 3 losing seasons. Only Cignetti and Brown fit that bill. No matter the metric, Brown has yet to show anything that makes him competitive with any WVU coach not named Cignetti in over 50 years. I really wish he would, but he hasn't yet. I don't see how any of you have faith that it is likely to change anytime soon especially since most coaches WVU has had who didn't get fired showed at least something better than Brown in less than 3 years, much less 5.

They are both stubborn that's for sure. Huggins was slipping towards the end but at least his system used to work. Brown is just a stubborn failure on all fronts.
