America also is not a relative theory boom like Socialism is. America is real. America is true. America is just. And America is Blessed because she is codified in her founding documents as recognizing where her Truths can be found.

I don’t abhor religion. I think it draws lines and alienates people. But I also think promotes community, and goodwill and helps to prevent the ego from overtaking the soul.
But it shouldn’t be seen as the source of America. That vision is dangerous, clouded, and just literally wrong.
To a certain extent I'd agree with that boom (about Religion drawing lines) I posted the other day Christ wasn't about Religion...he was non denomonational. I can't stand sanctimonious Religious folks. People who love to impress you with their "Religiosity".
I'm with you on that, spare me OK? Christ had his biggest arguments with the Religious people of his time...the Scribes who supposedly knew God's Word. They didn't, and he called 'em on it.
But Christ doesn't ask or care what Religion we are boom. It's not in Scripture that we'll be judged on our loyalty to a sect. We are simply asked if we know Christ?
That being said people of Faith are unfairly tarred and feathered simply because they believe. Faith is hard to quantify and harder to see. You live it. Christ calls us into relationship with him as he was with the Father.
It's amazing whenever I fly into Atlanta and the plane descends to about 10,000 feet or lower and I can look out over the hills I can easily see all of the Steeples dotting the countryside.
This is a Nation of Faith. So many different ways folks find to Praise Almighty God. For the most part peacefully, with respect for the differences yet in harmony with the same purpose. To give Thanks to Almighty God for his goodness, providence, protection, provision, and prominence over our Blessed land.
I'm glad you don't hate Religion boom..there really is no reason for you to. Believers mean you no harm... I certainly don't. Most Church folks mind their own business and don't care if you believe or not...go to Church or stay home. They do resent being unfairly mocked or called ugly things like racists.
They are working on their relationship with Almighty God trying to live as he compels them and help as many others as they can to first find him then enter into relationship with him too. They just want to be able to do that freely, openly, and without interference from Government or the unsaved.
