University Town Centre Hill, which is 2 miles or so from Mountaineer Field just off the I-79 exit for the quieter crowds, has
CHEDDARS
CHILI'S GRILL AND BAR
CRACKER BARREL
EVERGREEN BUFFET
LONGHORN STEAKHOUSE
OLIVE GARDEN
RED LOBSTER
If you want a more raucous crowd, then drive up Patteson Drive (left as you reach the WVU Coliseum from I-79 if you're coming in from Pittsburgh Airport) and you'll hit Boston Beanery and others. Just pick the place making the most noise.
Or find a tailgate party in the Light Blue or Blue lots. Probably get offers of free beer and food if you smile at our WV clothing.
Enjoy your visit to Morgantown. I haven't met a grouch among all the Big 12 visitors since WVU joined the Big 12. A welcome contrast to the Big East visitors who thought it was "hillbilly" clothing if you wore Levis. You know, the kind you wear in Texas. You'll feel right at home in Mountaineer Country.
We like country music, too, particularly "Country Roads," which we sing after every Mountaineer victory.
Welcome!
