If the offensive push doesn't work this summer we all need to have a serious conversation about continuing to fund this? You agree? Propaganda coming from both sides an it's actually hard to tell what is going on there. At some point adults need to force a cease fire and peace deal. Preferably not Xi leading it.
Nobody is rooting for Putin. However how much more tax dollars are you willing to send before demanding everyone sit down and work out a peace deal? This has happened twice now. Once under Obama/Biden and now Biden/Harris. That should make people suspicious.

The Russians claim 22000 Ukrainians killed in the battle for Bakhmut.
The Wagners also claimed a beheading strike on Ukraine's top general, who appears to now be in hospital in a critical condition.
This sounds about right.
The Ukrainians tossed thirty three brigades into the meat grinder, at roughly four thousand per brigade, about a hundred and thirty thousand men, and losing in attritive warfare tends to be horrific.
A lot of those brigades have not been seen in a while.
One would expect the defeated side to have casualties in that ballpark.
If the Russians are being optimistic, not by a huge amount.
