FINAL NATIONAL RANKINGS

#1 Houston (joins Big 12 in fall)
#3 Kansas (defending national champs)
#5 Purdue (WVU gave ‘em tough battle)
#7 Texas
#10 Baylor (national champ 2 years ago)
#12 Kansas State
#22 TCU
#30 Iowa State
#32 West Virginia

That’s 7 current and 1 future Big 12 member in Top 32 nationally.

#32 WVU will be in 68-team March Madness field. Already 18-13 with Texas Tech, which it split with this season, opponent in first game of Big 12 tournament Wednesday at 7 pm so Mountaineers are a lock to be in March Madness.

By rule every Big 12 team has to be put in a different quad so WVU and the rest can advance to Elite Eight without playing each other again. 18 games plus Big 12 tournament is enough Big 12 matchups.

In March Madness it will be the Big 12 against the weaker conferences. Big 12 is strongest in 20 years, impartial national experts have written.

I can't wait for the carnage!

WVU also lost 2 games to
Baylor
Texas
Kansas

And split with
TCU
Kansas State

Swept ISU

4-8 add in your infamous Purdue loss and it's 4-9

Let's hope the carnage isn't against WVU.

I want WVU to win...and few schools to lose. You appear to root for other schools to win with as much gusto as you do for your "alma mater."

Which raises the question, is WVU really your alma mater?
