Thanks Trump!! Glad he spared poor Apple though.
The one POTUS single-handedly passed on to the American consumer today. If you somehow don't know about it, you will know soon enough. What tax hike?
If you somehow don't know about it, you will know soon enough.
Oh the tariffs. I support the tariffs 100%.
Yes. They too are a tax on the American consumer. Are you now pro tax hike?Have any other tariffs went into place yet?
Most people on the board are against such tax hikes. Glad you are open to the federal government controlling you that way. Best of luck!Oh the tariffs. I support the tariffs 100%.
Yes. They too are a tax on the American consumer. Are you now pro tax hike?
Same can be said for when Obama raised taxes, yet most pro Trumpers on this board seemed to scream bloody murder. It's odd.No, I just didn't know anything was in place. Hadn't felt a thing myself, and the economy is cruising.
Same can be said for when Obama raised taxes, yet most pro Trumpers on this board seemed to scream bloody murder. It's odd.
Obama's socialist policies are why the economy never prospered after the crash. There's a reason it was the worst recovery, it was headed by a socialist anti american President.Same can be said for when Obama raised taxes, yet most pro Trumpers on this board seemed to scream bloody murder. It's odd.
Only the ones you feel matter? That's silly. I've never been wronged by a terrorist or an illegal immigrant. Open borders for all!!I felt those, 4 times. The medical tax on braces X 3 and insurance.
Wait, you don't like Obama?Obama's socialist policies are why the economy never prospered after the crash. There's a reason it was the worst recovery, it was headed by a socialist anti american President.
Didn't like his policies. He actually seems very likable.Wait, you don't like Obama?
they are taking money out of the economy.
No. The economy should be even betterSo the economy could be even more on fire?
You mean the previous 8 years should ahve been better? No. The economy should be even better
Yes. When have I ever said differently? I point out that it wasn't the myopic wasteland Trumpers pretend, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't have been better. Same for now.You mean the previous 8 years should ahve been better?
I'm open to the Government taking a hold of these Countries that has been systemically raping us for decades over trade if that's what you meanMost people on the board are against such tax hikes. Glad you are open to the federal government controlling you that way. Best of luck!
I'm open to the Government taking a hold of these Countries that has been systemically raping us for decades over trade if that's what you mean
How will they take hold of those countries by making Americans pay more? I don't follow?I'm open to the Government taking a hold of these Countries that has been systemically raping us for decades over trade if that's what you mean
So China has been on the up and up since joining the WTO? That’s what you’re going with? It's amusing to see people swallow bullshit, hook, line and sinker.
China can’t win a trade war against us. This is having far more of an impact to their economy than it is ours. They’re counting on this being a bluff and riding out the storm, it’s not. He’ll crash their economy before it’s all said and done if they don’t commit to ceasing the currency manipulation. How will they take hold of those countries by making Americans pay more? I don't follow?
Nope. We should create some sort of Trans Pacific Partnership with our allies in the region to influence their ways. Nevermind, let's just tax the American consumer. So China has been on the up and up since joining the WTO? That’s what you’re going with?
Nobody wins a trade war. Crash their economy? lol. Good luck.China can’t win a trade war against us. This is having far more of an impact to their economy than it is ours. That’s not the direction we’ve decided to take. Might as well stop crying about it and cheer for a quick capitulation by them. No unringing the bell at this point. Just need to hope he has the balls to see it through and that the economy is robust enough to withstand this onslaught.Nope. Or pressure mounts and we back away from this mistake. Who knows, maybe Congress will take back the reigns and some good will come out of all of this. That’s not the direction we’ve decided to take. How long do you think it will be solo? My guess is that we’ll end up having some friends come along, like those being pressured in the South China Sea.Nobody wins a trade war. Crash their economy? lol. Good luck.
What is the end goal of the SOLO trade war with China
Speculating here, but my guess is to bring about negative economic actions within China to slow their growth and preserve our status as the economic leader of the world. If I were in the war room, I’d be doing anything I could to break the back of China and their Communist regime. I’d say this is one of multiple fronts we’re going offensively on them. Pressure through economic means to bring about change on a geopolitical front. But I’m simple and don’t really understand much about the world.Again - what is the end goal with the Trade War?
We have the ability to break every country in the world economically, one on one. Europe has bowed, Mexico has, canada will and so will China. China's economy has already suffered.Speculating here, but my guess is to bring about negative economic actions within China to slow their growth and preserve our status as the economic leader of the world. Almost like a Trans Pacific Partnership...lol Classic. How long do you think it will be solo? My guess is that we’ll end up having some friends come along, like those being pressured in the South China Sea.
Moreover, I’d bet we start seeing a diversification of Asian products, Taiwan, Vietnam, Korea, Thailand etc. as US based businesses begin making strategic moves into other countries to offset their losses in China. That will have an impact on them. Their currency will begin falling off a cliff, reductions in exports to the US will decrease their GDP, hyperinflation will set in. Yea, crash their economy.
You pretend like none of that is on the table, I don’t get it.
We had ways to make this happen without the tariff route, we didn’t elect to go that route. We should have. We didn’t.
Everything........except use the tools in place and bringing along our allies. Better to alienate ourselves. Good grief. I hope Daddy Fed saves you guys from the meanies. If I were in the war room, I’d be doing anything I could to break the back of China and their Communist regime.
lmao. How did Europe bow? Mexico? Don't believe all the propaganda bullshit you see/hear.We have the ability to break every country in the world economically, one on one. Europe has bowed, Mexico has, canada will and so will China. China's economy has already suffered.
And you were not consulted? Say it ain’t so.The one POTUS single-handedly passed on to the American consumer today.
