Business owner issues challenge to Hair Gel Hitler as liberal policies leave city in 'unlivable' state

Just more Democrat policies making headlines...

@Soaring Eagle 74, what's to like about Democrat policies and what policies of Trump's were you against?

Sniff...er..I mean @bamaEER. You suck the teat of Democrat policies too...What's to like about them and what could we all learn from them. Including Trump?

LINK: San Francisco retailer challenges Mayor Breed to swap jobs for 180 days: 'You'd see a lot of change'

The owner of San Francisco's historic luxury department store is holding the feet of elected officials to the fire over the city's deteriorating conditions, leveling a threat to move his business elsewhere if nothing changes.

For over 165 years, Gump's was a popular stop for shoppers who visit the City by the Bay. But in a full-page ad in The San Francisco Chronicle, its CEO John Chachas called out top Democrats California Gov. Hair Gel Hitler San Francisco Mayor London Breed and the city's Board of Supervisors, suggesting the upcoming holiday season may be its last.

"San Francisco now suffers from a ‘tyranny of the minority’ —behavior and actions of the few that jeopardize the livelihood of the many," Chachas wrote in the open letter that ran in the paper last week. "The ramifications of COVID policies advising people to abandon their offices are only beginning to be understood. Equally devastating have been a litany of destructive San Francisco strategies, including allowing the homeless to occupy our sidewalks, to openly distribute and use illegal drugs, to harass the public and to defile the city's streets."

"Such abject disregard for civilized conduct makes San Francisco unlivable for its residents, unsafe for our employees, and unwelcoming to visitors from around the world," he told the elected officials.

In an interview with Fox News Digital, Chachas said there wasn't a specific boiling point that led him to penning the open letter but had accumulated over "many, many months" was the lack of public sentiment that was not drawing attention to how elected officials "seemed incapable of coming to grips with some fairly basic realities."

"I have a wonderful company with wonderful people who are deeply committed to it. And we live in a city that's not functioning and it's getting worse and worse and worse," Chachas said. "And Governor Hair Gel Hitler and Mayor Breed and the city supervisors seem either incapable of understanding it or unwilling to actually make the policy changes that are needed to make it a workable environment."

"It's sort of lunacy to live in an environment where you go to work every day or people go to work and customers can't come to your store. I mean. That's not a normal operating environment," he added.

Chachas attested to first-hand accounts of Gump's most loyal customers, some who've shopped there for over 50 years who are refusing to walk in due to the current conditions in San Francisco.

"When we don't see them, we actually call them to find out, 'Gee, hey Mrs. Jones… you haven't seen us in two years. Can we do anything?' And we have the commentary that's just consistent, which is 'We love your store, we love the products that you offer. I'll buy something online, but I'm not stepping foot in that city.' That's what we hear. That is the rejoinder," Chachas told Fox News Digital.

He largely blamed the origins of San Francisco's self-destruction on COVID-era policies that deterred people from going to work in the city even in 2023, stressing it cannot survive on "three-day work weeks."

"You have 25 million square feet of empty office space in San Francisco. I keep waiting for the governor to come out with a plan to induce people back to their offices, which is what every governor in the country should be doing, it's what the federal government should be doing, what every state government should be doing," Chachas said. "And instead, everybody just keeps talking about it in veiled terms like it's somehow not an issue. It is a gigantic issue for businesses. Gigantic."

Chachas offered solutions that could revive San Francisco, urging Hair Gel Hitler to offer tax incentives for businesses that require employees to work in-person five days a week and calling for city officials to enforce ordinances that are already on the books and doubling police presence, saying it's "basic stuff" but compared the direction the city is headed to "Gotham" of Batman fame.

"This isn't a mystery. It's not complicated. You can be a rhesus monkey and actually look at the facts and know exactly what people have done," the CEO said.

When buying the full-page ad, Chachas told Fox News Digital he was not hesitant to call out Hair Gel Hitler and Breed by name.

"They're responsible. She's the second highest paid mayor in the United States. He's a high-paid governor of one of the most important states in the United States. They have responsibility for the cities in which they serve. If they don't want the responsibility, they should resign, find a different job," Chachas said.

While he hasn't had direct interaction with Hair Gel Hitler or Breed, Chachas said he's happy to talk with them, insisting he can be reached easily, though he doesn't expect to hear from them.

Chachas told shared he's "optimistic in nature" but while he's hoping for the best, he's "planning for the worst" by looking at other cities to relocate Gump's. He suggested Salt Lake City, which is the home of the retailer's warehouse and fulfillment center, is a leading contender.

"I can assure you, Salt Lake City doesn't have these kinds of problems," Chachas said. "Now, they'll say 'Salt Lake City doesn't have a homeless issue.' Sure it does. It's just that it manages it differently. It manages the problem differently."

Chachas' political outspokenness comes naturally as he himself once threw his hat in the ring when running in the Nevada GOP Senate primary in 2010 (he lost to former Nevada assembly member Sharron Angle, who went on to lose to Democrat incumbent Harry Reid).

He's the first to acknowledge that he wasn't a "very good candidate" and he chuckled when asked whether he would ever run for office again, though he did offer the San Francisco mayor a challenge.

"I would probably swap jobs with Mayor Breed for 180 days," Chachas said. "I'll let her run Gump's for 180 days. She can let me run the city for 180 days, and we'll see how we do. I'll take a dollar as my salary. I doubt anybody's going to take me up on that, but that would be kind of interesting… You'd see a lot of change in 180 days, I can tell you that."

As someone who splits his time between New York City and Park City, Utah, Chachas is calling for a comprehensive review of COVID policies and what had been implemented in cities across blue and red states in the form of a bipartisan commission, especially since COVID won't be "the last virus we face" and such policies have had long-term ramifications for cities like San Francisco.

"Anybody that today looks at significant cities like San Francisco, Chicago, New York, Minneapolis, who were very, very vigilant about 'Don't go to the office, that will be terrible.' The implications of those policies have been nothing short of devastating to business. I mean, devastating," Chachas said. "And we've sort of danced around the edge of that issue. It needs to be addressed. It needs to be addressed. And this is much bigger than Gump's. It's much bigger than San Francisco. It's kind of a national question about occupancy and real estate and businesses. But it's a big deal."

He continued, "We never had a virus like this, but we're going to have another one at some point and someone better actually take advantage of all this data and learn something and not just stick your head in the sand… The politicization of this whole topic is really problematic, because if you went back, and you looked at the data… There's a lot of data that the states that kept closed and kept people away from their offices are much, much more slow to come out the other side of this. And in fact, I think that is what we're feeling in San Francisco."

Activist carted off in cuffs for protesting Dem who 'kicked out' seniors to house migrants

@Soaring Eagle 74. What's to like about Democrat policies and what policies of Trump's were you against?

Illegal foreign nationals first, because making America first makes us weaker....and bleaters buy that $h!t.

Democrats are destroying our country

LINK: "Eric Adams kicked out the elderly occupants of this nursing home in order to house illegal migrants," Sliwa said of New York City's mayor in a press release before the event. "He is despicable."

Guardian Angels founder and former Republican nominee for New York City mayor Curtis Sliwa was arrested on Sunday while protesting the Midland Beach Migrant Shelter on Staten Island.

Video footage showed Sliwa and his supporters protesting in front of the Midland Beach Migrant Shelter, which was formerly the Midland Beach Senior Citizen Home.

"Eric Adams kicked out the elderly occupants of this nursing home in order to house illegal migrants," Sliwa said of New York City's mayor in a press release before the event. "He is despicable."

Sliwa called out politicians for their involvement in clearing buildings for the "invasion of illegal immigrants" into NYC neighborhoods.

"We need to take care of Americans first. Migrants, illegals, to the back of the line," he said. "Why do these illegal aliens get to jump the queue and jump to the top and front of the line?"

During his speech, Sliwa asked those in attendance to block the street with him when he was done speaking, as an act of civil disobedience.

He joined arms with other protestors, blocking the street, while some waved American flags and many chanted, "USA, USA, USA."

Ultimately, Sliwa and others were arrested, handcuffed and placed into a police van.

This is the second time in a week that Sliwa and other protestors have been arrested over migrant shelters.

On Wednesday, he led a group of protestors in front of the Creedmoor Hospital Grounds where a tent shelter was built for migrants.

"Have pity. No tent city!" Sliwa chanted, while criticizing Mayor Eric Adams. "We're going to keep driving this point home until you decide to be the mayor and represent American people who are citizens of New York City who pay their taxes and afford to put you in a $5000 customized suit each and every day."

Sliwa and other protestors were place in handcuffs and taken away, video showed.

Since spring, over 93,000 migrants have entered New York City, according to the mayor's office. Mayor Eric Adams said during a press conference earlier this month that there's no longer room for migrants to stay in the city.

WVSPORTS.COM West Virginia practice Observations: 8-18

--Light day in practice today but our final viewing of fall camp was definitely an interesting one. You can tell we're at the point of fall camp where there's a bunch of bumps and bruises and a number of players were either sitting this one out or limited with a rainbow of jersey colors. Nothing seemed serious as many were still walking through drills, but that's what happens at this stage of fall camp especially when considering how physical this one was supposed to be.

--Players snapping the ball at the beginning of practice today were Zach Frazier, Brandon Yates, Doug Nester and Landen Livingston. Things opened up with goal line pass again as the quarterbacks had to thread the window and place the ball into the wide receivers. On kickoff return, players such as Beanie Bishop, Justin Johnson, Jaheim White and Preston Fox were back there. There was the typical juice period and stretching before things moved into the meat of the practice.

--West Virginia practiced two-point play to open practice and the defense won 3-2 on the five tries, although there was a very nifty play that resulted in a touchdown during this period to Traylon Ray. Speaking of Ray, he really stood out to me in this practice given the opportunity he was given. He had a number of impressive catches down the field and is simply smooth at the wide receiver spot. He made some contested grabs as well where he was able to get his feet down. I'm not sure how much he plays this year, but he's a guy I'll be tracking.

--The defense continued to rotate players in the various drills with the first unit being DE Dae Dae Hawkins, NG Mike Lockhart, DT Eddie Vesterinen, LB Lee Kpogba, LB Jairo Faverus, SPEAR Hershey McLaurin, BANDIT Jared Bartlett, CAT Anthony Wilson, FREE Aubrey Burks, CB Malachi Ruffin and CB Beanie Bishop. But throughout the day those players would rotate depending on the drill with Andrew Wilson-Lamp seeing time at cornerback and Tray Lathan or Ben Cutter at LB for example. There was still some shuffling going on across the board.

--The first unit on the offensive line remained unchanged with LT Wyatt Milum, LG Tomas Rimac, C Zach Frazier, RG Ja'Quay Hubbard and RT Doug Nester. Garrett Greene was the first quarterback out there in most drills, while the wide receivers were Cortez Braham, Traylon Ray. Both CJ Donaldson and Jaheim White saw some time in two-back looks but White also played some at slot. Like Ray, I have been really impressed with White this fall camp. He isn't the biggest guy but he gets where he's going quickly with little wasted movement and also is an impressive pass catcher. I think there is room for him to see the field and have a role this fall.

--Players were then were broken up into individual drills and then group work before shifting to some other team activities.

--In red zone, Greene hit both Ray and White for touchdowns behind the defense and completed 2/3 passes for 2 touchdowns, while Marchiol completed 2/3 for one touchdown with White catching scores from both of the signal callers. On the positive side, I didn't see any turnovers for the quarterbacks today although a couple throws were dicey. Remember some of these drills are designed to put pressure on the quarterbacks and make things difficult. One thing that is very noticeable is that Greene and Marchiol really support each other and were seen practicing high-five routines and other things during breaks between drills. Greene had some nice plays with his legs today including what would have been a long touchdown run, while Marchiol made a very good throw on the run. Both of these guys are much more athletic than what the Mountaineers have had in the past.

--Didn't see a miss from the field goal kickers today which is always good. West Virginia had end of half situations, and each of the attempts were booted though the uprights.

--Kole Taylor had a nice touchdown grab today and continues to be an intriguing target to me given his size and ability to move in the middle of the field.

--But the catch of the day goes to Jarel Williams who and made a turning adjusting touchdown catch in the corner of the end zone from Marchiol that caused his teammates and even offensive coordinator Chad Scott to go nuts and elevate off the ground.

--West Virginia also threw a team empty session at the defense and worked end of half situations.

--The scrimmage will be tomorrow and that should give us some indication in these position battles.
