West Virginia has offered Syracuse DL Terry Lockett. Lockett appeared in 26 games over his three seasons with the Orange but during his sophomore season was able to redshirt after experiencing a season ending injury. Returned this past year and 25 tackles and 3 tackles for loss. At 6-foot-3, 280-pounds, the Massachusetts native has two years of eligibility left at his next stop and has picked up several offers outside of the Mountaineers.

Should Bowl results continue to count...

towards a Team's regular Season Record? I'm starting to think they shouldn't.

These Days the Teams that play in the Bowls outside of the Playoffs are so radically different personnel wise compared to the rest of the Year that it's doesn't even feel like you're playing the same Team.

I dunno, just doesn't feel the same anymore

RECRUITING UPDATE Spoke with OL official visitor

Sterling (Il.) 2024 offensive lineman Lucas Austin told me that he really enjoyed his official visit to West Virginia but what stood out the most was the team culture and the people. His primary recruiter is offensive line coach Matt Moore and he believes they have a great relationship. Austin is a player that the coaches like due to his size, length and athleticism and they believe that they can put good weight on him for the future. He is being targeted as a tackle but is versatile enough to play several different spots. He told me that he felt at home during the weekend and he plans on narrowing down his schools this week to sign during the early period. He wants to pick a school based off the feel and he admitted to me that while he was in Morgantown everything was great and the culture and people really stuck out to him.
