Hurricane: Loaded with transfer talent and whipped an average AA Winfield team, 63-0, and it could've been worse as Hurricane subbed freely in the 2nd half.
Long (son of Jerrald Long), the QB who verballed to Marshall looks legit with arm strength, accuracy, and ability to run. He's about 210 pounds and 6-1 or 6-2. Although again Winfield didn't have much in terms of size or speed.
Tyshawn Dues, junior WR who has an offer WVU, caught 2 TD passed, one was a slot fade that was about 60 yards. He wasn't thrown to that much.
Laron Dues, soph CB/WR, 5-9 170, had a tough night and dropped 3 TD passes.
LT Parks 6-5 290 soph, who has offers from everyone including Bama, hard to get a read on him as Winfield was small and slow.
Hurricane back up QB Noah Vellaithambi, Junior, about 6-0 185 probably, has a MAC offer, had a decent TD run but looked average playing safety.
Capital transfers the Hamptons, Jr. Shalik 6-4 225, played DE and his little brother Kno'sean started at corner as a freshman and he is 5-10 170. I was impressed with both but again competition was weak. Shalik could be 245 next year as he has a good frame and is athletic.
Hurricane's starting RB is soph Kylan Grace, transfer from Cabell Midland, 5-10 190 was impressive. He is John Grace's son who played at Marshall. Shifty and strong runner.
Hurricane is loaded at the skill positions for a WV High School football team.
