NY Attorney General Letitia James... just your normal lyin' communist/marxist crook...

by Kari Donovan November 3, 2022

Corruptly indicting President Donald J. Trump has been on the concerned minds of most political watchers, especially as the radical far-left Attorney General of New York escalates and exposes her deranged obsession with punishing the Populist firebrand, who is assumed to be the front-runner for the 2024 Presidential race, by filing charges against him and his children in an attempt to paralyze him.

James filed her lawsuit in early October, claiming that the Trump family was involved in large-scale by over-valuing assets like buildings and golf courses. It appears to be just a plot to keep him busy in court.

This week, Trump announced that he is now in return- suing the crazed New York Attorney General Letitia James, by challenging the prosecutor’s suit against him and his business.

Trump made the announcement on his social media, saying James was’ corrupt’ and showed ‘bias,’ and New York ‘one of the most crime-ridden places on earth.’

“Trump further charged that James, who aired plans last year to run for governor against Kathy Hatchel in the upcoming election but backed out after failing to raise the necessary funds, has done little to protect New York against rampant crime,” The Daily Mail reported, adding more details”

Instead, the suit states the prosecutor has engaged in a senseless ‘war of intimidation and harassment’ through her office’s investigation into Trump’s Big Apple-based real estate company, which James charges skirted taxes for 15 years.

Filed in Florida circuit court Wednesday evening, the lawsuit states James abused her position ‘to pursue a relentless, pernicious, public, and unapologetic crusade against’ the ex-president, who currently resides in Palm Beach County, Florida.

The goal of James’ supposed witch hunt, Trump charged, is ‘destroying him personally, financially, and politically.’

The civil suit seeks unspecified damages in regard to James’ alleged smear campaign and went as far as to brand James a ‘political hack… who is using this lawsuit for political gain.’

‘James has repeatedly abused her position as Attorney General for the State of New York to pursue a relentless, pernicious, public, and unapologetic crusade against President Trump, a resident of Palm Beach County, Florida, with the stated goal of destroying him personally, financially, and politically,’ the filing reads.

It goes on to slam James’ long-running investigation as ‘contrary to both the laws of New York and Florida,’ claiming it was launched without evidence and ‘before the pretext of a predicate existed.’

Since being elected in 2019, the suit states James ‘established within her office a policy of intimidating and harassing President Trump whenever possible,’ beginning during Trump’s presidency and persisting since he returned to his residence in Palm Beach County.

The end objective of the AG’s ‘ongoing intimidation and harassment’ campaign, it charges, is to cause the Trump and the Trump Organization irrevocable ‘harm’ – while building up ‘underserved publicity’ for herself as a politician.

James’ suit claimed that Trump and other staffers at his real estate empire committed fraud on a regular basis for a decade and a half, inflating his net worth by billions of dollars while misleading banks and others for years about the true value of various assets.

It adds that statements submitted by James’ office to provide proof of the ex-president’s net worth ‘contained numerous disclaimers regarding the manner in which the estimates were prepared.’

‘To place this abusive claim in context,’ the suit asserts of the AG’s fraud allegations, ‘the many assets owned by President Trump carry very little debt and most are free and clear.’

‘James seeks unprecedented oversight of President 3 Trump’s business and financial affairs — including control over President Trump’s Florida revocable trust1 — as she grandstands in demanding $250 million in “restitution” for the people of New York,’ the suit charges.

‘In truth, James knows that no restitution is owed but seeks only attention for herself and retribution against President Trump.’

The civil suit seeks unspecified damages in regard to James’ alleged smear campaign, and went as far as to brand James a ‘political hack… who is using this lawsuit for political gain.’

The filing further declares James’ allegations would bring great harm to his company, the Trump brand, his employees, and his reputation. ‘Likewise, it could virtually destroy the highly profitable’ properties his empire operates.

‘Today, I filed a lawsuit in Florida State Circuit Court against the corrupt Attorney General of New York State, Letitia “Peekaboo” James,’ Trump wrote, using his pet name for the prosecutor.

‘New York State is one of the most crime-ridden places on earth with murders, robberies, drug deals, and every other form of crime setting records on a weekly basis.’

All the while, the politician added, ‘James does nothing to protect New York against these violent crimes and criminals, she attacks great and upstanding businesses which have done nothing wrong, like the very successful, job and tax producing Trump Organization that I have painstakingly built over a long period of years.

‘Crooked and highly partisan James now thinks it is the business of the State of New York to go after my revocable trust and pry into my private estate plan, only to look for ways to recklessly injure me, my family, my businesses, and my tens of millions of supporters.

Five Thoughts...Oklahoma St. 48 WVU 34 & The Crossroads

My Fiver on WVU's loss to Oklahoma State in Morgantown Saturday...

1. Terrifying. As a kid, I watched pretty much all of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies. Ditto for the Friday the 13th series. The Ring is a pretty scary one - and Jaws is of course an all time classic. But, nothing, absolutely nothing, is more bone chilling than when we are fielding a punt. It is absolutely terrifying. So, when we had the lead 24-20, backed Oklahoma State into a 4th & 13, and were about to get favorable field position...when that ball was in the air, I almost couldn't watch. Then, the inevitable occurred. I would 100% be in favor of what Dana Holgorsen did in 2014 and just forget about putting a punt return man back there. But, that singular play/gaffe/monumental F--- up was the end of the game. From that point, Oklahoma State ran 11 total plays, gained 228 yards and scored 4 touchdowns. That play didn't just end the game. It ended Neal Brown's career. And it may have ended our season.

2. The "D" laid down. We have given up 48 points combined in the last two games' fourth quarters. Down 21-17 heading into the 4th at Houston, lost 41-39. Leading 24-20 heading into the 4th vs. OSU, lost 48-34. That is absolutely unacceptable on so many different levels. And Oklahoma State didn't really try to do anything overly complicated. They just handed the ball off to Ollie Gordon II and their OL steamrolled our DL and he ran untouched into the end zone. Our LBs & Spear were completely lost. It was embarrassing. This defense looks nothing like what we saw in the 4-1 start. Nothing. Trey Lathan was damn good, and is a huge loss. But, his loss has nothing to do with our DL becoming road kill and our LBs and Spear being found on the back of milk cartons. Oklahoma State's OL just beat our DL into the turf. Often, they got to the 2nd level to chip our LBs out of the way. I said it before this game, I cannot stand soft defense. I actually can put up with our pedestrian offense when our "D" is legit. But, this....this is unacceptable.

3. I'll give credit to the following players, who never gave up and kept fighting until the bell: Garrett Greene, Justin Johnson Jr., Preston Fox, EJ Horton, Wyatt Milum, Zach Frazier. Also kudos to our kicker, Michael Hayes - that kid is legit. I don't know where we're going with this program after 2023, but I will be very happy if those 6 guys are still part of the program.

4. Oklahoma State 3rd & 3, score 27-27, from WVU 29. Quick swing pass to Brannen Pressley, and Marcis Floyd and Aubrey Burks had him dead-to-rights two yards behind the line of scrimmage. Both whiffed on a Pressley spin, and he sprints in for a TD. OK - that's very Marcis Floyd. But, Aubrey Burks whiffing on that one was an eye-opener. Karl Joseph would've decleated Pressley there. But, Burks hesitated. Could be the injury giving him second thoughts, I don't know. But, he hesitated instead of going in there like a missile and making the play. He makes that play there, it's 4th and 5, and OSU is forced to make a business decision in a game still up for grabs. Just an awful play -right up there with the muffed punt return.

5. The Crossroads. I mentioned it in @WV42MU31 's thread - before Saturday, I felt this game was a Crossroads. Neal Brown had built up some good will during the 4-1 start, but all of that good will was burned by the Hail Mary and Houston loss. A loss Saturday in Morgantown vs. an OSU team who frankly is very pedestrian would be the kill shot. It's over. I agree with @mdeer1 that the optics of paying Neal Brown $13 million - even with donors' money - is awful right now in so many facets. To me, the singular most significant gut punch of that idea is that I would much, much rather have those funds parked in the Country Roads Trust. But, it is what it is. We're stuck with this buyout and we make it to move on, optics be damned.

WVU is a damn fine football program with a passionate fanbase and a hell of a tradition. We are not the type of people who give up and just walk away from all of that history. No matter what happens the rest of this season, I will always cheer for the flying WV and support this program. There are fine coaches out there who could come here, embrace our brand and win. I am intrigued by @backcountry mounty 's boy Brian Hartline. I'm sure he would bring his younger brother Mike, who is the passing game coordinator at Charlotte, to be his OC. That makes me wince a bit. I do think Curt Cignetti should be a top 5 candidate. But, it's going to be interesting to see how this plays out. Once Brown is fired and the new coach is in place, hope will spring eternal and the fanbase will be united...unless one particular candidate is hired, and then he better come here and win big right away. One thing I can guarantee you is that WVU football will be back. We'll win again. We just need to absorb these uppercuts, pick ourselves off the mat, and try to forge a better future.

Jenna Ellis Flips on Trump

That was expected.

Ellis, who had been facing two charges including violating Georgia’s anti-racketeering act, pleaded guilty in court Tuesday morning to a reduced charge of aiding and abetting false statements and writings. The deal allows her to avoid jail time in exchange for providing evidence that could potentially implicate other defendants and agreeing to testify in any future trials.

WVU football held hostage - Day 1,748

The Brown stain on this football program might never wash off.

WVU football deserves a coach who can recruit, is a good Xs and Os guy, who can actually make a good decision or two during games and demands disciplined play from his team. In other words, somebody who is not Clown Brown, aka the Brown Stain.

WVU football deserves better than what it has.
