And I probably would have voted for Rubio against Clinton. So, the liberal left (at least some) are not as twisted as you think.I'm not sure how you can look at the decimation of the DNC in the down ballots as anything other than a complete dismissal and objection of liberal ideals.
And as for how to reference it, I'll reference it as reality. People objected so much so that the worst candidate in GOP history, the pussy grabbing narcissist, soundly beat DNC royalty. You all need to accept the reality of what occurred, not just Trump's win but the continued decimation of the down ballots. It is a mandate.
You all are the party of the NorthEast and Left Coast.
I liked Clinton more after the Monica thing. Still don't believe the rspe accusation. Trump? I don't care if he tries to bag tons of women, even married ones. But sexual assault is too much, and he bragged about it. But hey, to be fair, if Clinton groped women without permission too, then he's a sleaze as well
I'm not either, but I'll give him a chance. Thus far, he is doing ok imo.I'm not sold that you have the greatest leader in place at this time just yet.
Hey, I cant even imagine why a man would walk past a woman in favor of another man. I can only see how women could be into women. But with your personal beliefs of a grand design, you can't even allow for the possiblility that homosexuality might be a part of that..... a kind of natural population control?
Plus it's being spun by the right as the overwhelming public sentiments against leftist policies.....but more people voted for the Predidential candidate from the left. Geez, just wait and see what happens, ok. Stop trying to act like this is "America calling for the end of liberalism".
It was pretty good. Discusses race comprehensively. Applies historical, economic, and social contexts. If you get a chance, watch it. No pun intended: racism isn't so black and white sometimes. No, didn't see it.
Wife better half is a mixed race young lady (mother white and father black). We discuss this often. The libs (not all dems are libs) will call out racism and sexism in a New York minute but completely ignore it from their side.
So, the liberal left (at least some) are not as twisted as you think.

Points for humor. But I'm a stay at home dad with a 4yr old and an 18 month old, who moved to Ohio to be closer to my wife's family. My friends are in Fla, WV, and Iowa....so I have better friendship with my daughters stuffed penguin than any actual person right now.Boomer my man you're no Lefty! Not if you're "rethinking" Government control over our free enterprise system and you think sex filled orgies are "obscene"!
You're faking my man to stay in good graces with your Left wing friends but you're really one of us Dude!
And I agree. Really, I do. Historical, economic and social contexts provide some understanding, not excuses.Actually, I disagree. Racism is racism. No excuses.

It's weird. Getting on here keeps me from going round the bend for sureGod Bless you Boomboom...you're doing the Lord's work raising them precious tykes. I learned a pretty good "Elmo" impersonation Babysitting my Granddaughter last year while her Mom went to school evenings. I was scaring myself Dude I got so good entertaining her with that stuffed "Elmo".
ok, and I hear you. But honestly, the Jim Crow era was only a generation or two ago. Our parents can affect our attitudes for sure.I would be more sympathetic in the slavery era. Or the Jim Crow era. But not today.
It's weird. Getting on here keeps me from going round the bend for sure
So you're saying if Females were around "in season" the males would still prefer other male dogs?
ok, and I hear you. But honestly, the Jim Crow era was only a generation or two ago. Our parents can affect our attitudes for sure.
I agree. Like in OJ: Made in America, I don't think racism was the cause of his prosecution at all. But many in LA saw it that way, due to the history of police brutality against blacks and the acquittal of the policeman that beat Rodney King. I'm just saying, there IS a trickle down effect to some degree. Good men, like my father, step up and get their children to see integrity rather than skin color as a measure of a man.I understand, but I had family that were racist and that did not affect my siblings.
My daughter's boyfriend is black. From Louisiana. He believes that so many of his friends see racism everywhere, even when it doesn't exist. He believes that always looking backward provides convenient excuses for not getting that job, not getting that pay raise, being given a speeding ticket, etc. If you think racism is rampant, you tend to blame it rather than looking inward. And you can't improve your life if someone else is to blame and you spend no time on self reflection or self improvement. Society has changed a great deal since Jim Crow.
Good luck!I'm not working right now but I do think that's about to change soon after the 1st of the year as I'm a finalist for several open positions that are going to be filled after the Holidays. So I'm spending a little too much time on BL right now that won't be available for me later but at least it keeps me from just sitting around & getting juiced everyday!

Great man, great quote.Well said. My favorite quote from MLK was:
"I look to a day when people will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
I understand, but I had family that had some racists and that did not affect my siblings.

What bothers me PAX is the word or term is used so often by so many people (especially Lefties) who try to claim it for almost anything that might be of a personal or even cultural nature. It gets used so much and so often that's almost meaningless now, which makes it harder to identify when in fact it's the real thing. People are mostly just tuning out the charge now because it's so much like the boy who cried "wolf".

that purpose is to keep blacks on the liberal thought plantation.
I hear you, but the idea of gender (in a social sense) is what a lot of transgenders deal with. There are actually studies that indicate that a lack of testosterone correlates with homosexuality. In some families, subsequent males are denied higher levels of testosterone, and have often had homosexual tendencies. Some transgenders are socialized to act masculine although they identify with more feminine characteristics. Some of these studies have revealed that children as young as 3-4 can identify with more feminine traits. There are "tawn boys" on the female side. Girls that identified with more masculine traits, and rejected the feminine. This doesn't automatically result in homosexuality, but a girl that identifies with the masculine feels more comfortable doing so, and does not feel comfortable in feminine clothes or doing feminine activities. For a boy that identifies with the feminine, it isn't very easy at all for that boy to feel comfortable. No I really can't boomboom521 and I'll even go so far as to confirm that as for as many Gay people who think they're opposite of their natural born sex (ie: men who prefer men or think they're women or women who prefer women or think they're men) the biological fact remains none of them will ever come into this world except through the birth canal of a Female vagina, that's been impregnated with a male's sperm.
Fact.
I don't care how much they try to change their own definition of what they think they are, none of their fellow or future same sex partners can reproduce or expand their ranks without some males and females hooking up and doing what natural opposite sexual intercourse naturally produces.
Oh I know they often argue for artificial insemination etc, but you still need a male sperm uniting with a female egg to produce a Zygote which then has to be planted inside a uterus...and we haven't not only figured out yet how to get around that little biological arrangement, they have no way of even knowing if that fertilized egg is gay or straight! All they will know after a few week's gestation is whether it's a male or a female.
Fact.
Sorry to inform them they have no power to change any of it either, that's just the way they're 'designed' even before they try to change or rename what their chromosomal biology & genitals tell them originally what sex they are.
the idea of gender (in a social sense) is what a lot of transgenders deal with.
I understand it might challenge aspects of your faith, but at the heart of your faith...is basically love....so why be bothered by it at all.
No, I'm saying your initial response of "have you seen a male dog...." was not accurate. That's all. And your "if you live in a glass house" response.....remind me, who was it that started the Bill Clinton reply? Oh...yeah...you. So you cast the first stone, I simply vollied it back to your side of the court with the Trump affairs.
OK..so tell me MountaineerWV...what's a Gay Dog look like? How can you tell, does he lisp when he barks?
Well.....I'm not an expert at this.....but I'll trust the scientists or psychologists that studied this and stated that male dogs have a tendency of homosexuality in them. But if you find out what one looks like, let me know. I bet you go down the streets looking at people and saying "yep, they are straight....nope they are gay.....DAMNIT!"
But for your reading pleasure....
http://www.slate.com/articles/healt...o_dogs_have_permanent_sexual_preferences.html
I guess anything's possible MountaineerWV...but in the natural world when you find little Puppies...you'll find Female dogs with teets feeding them. And if you trace where those little Pups came from, it was more than likely by that Female hound getting humped by a horny Male hound who sniffed that ass and liked what he smelled
I bet you go down the streets looking at people and saying "yep, they are straight....nope they are gay.....DAMNIT!"
Anatomically, you are correct. Physiologically, you aren't.No one is born "transgender" boomer. It's either Male or Female.
Period.
Liberalism isn't that cut and dry. You are hearing propaganda from the right. I'm not saying it's the reason you're conservative, but you are rather extreme in your views of Liberalism. Education is at the heart of Liberalism. Seeking social change through education. It means all facets of education as well, so don't get bogged down in the suggestion that I'm talking only about public schools. The idea is that through education and understanding, empathy and acceptance can occur. For issues of race, religion, gender, and ethnicity, gaps can be closed and tolerance of difference reached.I was accused on here the other day PAX of "voting against my own interests" by voting for Trump and even though my accusers didn't specifically say so, I believe this that you've mentioned is the main reason they were alluding to by making that remark.
So how did these "racists" in my opinion, know that my preference for free markets, limited Government, lower taxes, secure borders, energy independence, along with an end to crony capitalism is NOT in my own best self interests?
You're absolutely correct PAX, Democrats and the Left have been systematically trying to convince Black people that our only hope in America is through more Government programs or more Government handouts. It's the height of institutional racism to even suggest that just because I'm Black, I can't find success on my own without Democrat help. That I'm too stupid to stand on my own merits, because racist White Republican Conservatives don't want to see me successful and will hold me back.
I posted the only party standing in the way of my best interests is the Democrat Left, which treats me and my vote with utter contempt just as if I were a Bernie Sanders supporter. Ironically for those folks who were the "real deal" Socialist types, the Left was too corrupt and Hell bent on holding onto its power with crooked Hillary to make sure those voter's voices never had a chance for a fair hearing.
Now just suppose for a moment I was a Black Liberation Theology Socialist type like Obama, and really wanted the Government to run my Life and make things "equal" for me, and I saw that chance through Bernie Sander's candidacy? Do you think those same Leftist apologizers or sympathizers accusing me think the Democrat party had my "best interests" in mind by subverting his campaign the way they did?
And yet these same BL members were telling me I voted against my own interests casting my vote for Trump.
I couldn't stop laughing at that imbecilic
suggestion.
Anatomically,
