I'm not saying it's unnatural to find certain qualities of the same sex attractive, but that's not where we naturally find our logical attractions based on our different sexes or where individual species seek to mate.
We don't reproduce naturally by being attracted to or mating with the same sex, that's just observable measured, tested and confirmed fact.
The GOP ran their worst candidate in history and he won a bigger EC victory than anyone since Reagan. More insightful is the decimation of the Dems at all levels since Obama became President. He was a good campaigner and got his base out to vote. But when he was not on the ballot, the Dems got crucified. They've been obliterated at the state level. They were obliterated in the House. The Senate remains Republican and 2018 looks very grim for Dem Senate candidates. The American people rejected Obama's policies. Remember, he told everyone that while he was not on the ballot, his policies were. And they got creamed.

I'm not working right now but I do think that's about to change soon after the 1st of the year as I'm a finalist for several open positions that are going to be filled after the Holidays. So I'm spending a little too much time on BL right now that won't be available for me later but at least it keeps me from just sitting around & getting juiced everyday!

I understand, but I had family that had some racists and that did not affect my siblings.
My daughter's boyfriend is black. From Louisiana. He believes that so many of his friends see racism everywhere, even when it doesn't exist. He believes that always looking backward provides convenient excuses for not getting that job, not getting that pay raise, being given a speeding ticket, etc. If you think racism is rampant, you tend to blame it rather than looking inward. And you can't improve your life if someone else is to blame and you spend no time on self reflection or self improvement. Society has changed a great deal since Jim Crow.

I agree. Like in OJ: Made in America, I don't think racism was the cause of his prosecution at all. But many in LA saw it that way, due to the history of police brutality against blacks and the acquittal of the policeman that beat Rodney King. I'm just saying, there IS a trickle down effect to some degree. Good men, like my father, step up and get their children to see integrity rather than skin color as a measure of a man.

What bothers me PAX is the word or term is used so often by so many people (especially Lefties) who try to claim it for almost anything that might be of a personal or even cultural nature. It gets used so much and so often that's almost meaningless now, which makes it harder to identify when in fact it's the real thing. People are mostly just tuning out the charge now because it's so much like the boy who cried "wolf".

Oh I know they often argue for artificial insemination etc, but you still need a male sperm uniting with a female egg to produce a Zygote which then has to be planted inside a uterus...and we haven't not only figured out yet how to get around that little biological arrangement, they have no way of even knowing if that fertilized egg is gay or straight! All they will know after a few week's gestation is whether it's a male or a female.

You're absolutely correct PAX, Democrats and the Left have been systematically trying to convince Black people that our only hope in America is through more Government programs or more Government handouts. It's the height of institutional racism to even suggest that just because I'm Black, I can't find success on my own without Democrat help. I hear you, but the idea of gender (in a social sense) is what a lot of transgenders deal with. There are actually studies that indicate that a lack of testosterone correlates with homosexuality. In some families, subsequent males are denied higher levels of testosterone, and have often had homosexual tendencies. Some transgenders are socialized to act masculine although they identify with more feminine characteristics. Some of these studies have revealed that children as young as 3-4 can identify with more feminine traits. There are "tawn boys" on the female side. Girls that identified with more masculine traits, and rejected the feminine. This doesn't automatically result in homosexuality, but a girl that identifies with the masculine feels more comfortable doing so, and does not feel comfortable in feminine clothes or doing feminine activities. For a boy that identifies with the feminine, it isn't very easy at all for that boy to feel comfortable.
Now, my sociology background tells me that it is the social constructs of gender that makes the difference. Boys can be socialized from young ages to be masculine, and girls are feminized. Princesses and soldiers. However, the reverse can most certainly happen.
What I've began to realize, is that homosexuals have known of their sexual preference at very young ages. They often repress these tendencies until later in life due to embarrassment or shame. I think most transsexuals identify with the opposite side of the masculine - feminine spectrum.
Repression is never good in my opinion. There is more science to this than you think also. Bottom line is: what's it matter? Let it be. I understand it might challenge aspects of your faith, but at the heart of your faith...is basically love....so why be bothered by it at all.
It doesn't bother me one bit boom. Nothing in my Faith tells me those people should be "hated" because of who they chose to have sex with or act like. If anything my Faith animates me to Pray for them, because unlike you I think they're just confused where you think they're behaving normally.
I'm not going to condemn them or say they're wrong to feel the ways the do, all I'm saying is their thought and deeds relative to same sex, opposite sex, or no sex is not natural. It is against how they were designed or created. Now they can reject that, assimilate to the opposite sex, adopt or habitate towards the same sex too if they prefer, but those are conscious decisions they are making that have nothing to do with their chromosomal or genital makeup. We don't have a "gay" sex as an alternative to Male or Female. Men are not born "transgender", and Women are not born "transsexual".
These are all cultural or societal choices people are free to make, and it's their consciences (to borrow a phrase from our previous discussion) that they are left to deal with as well as the consequences of each choice.

Well.....I'm not an expert at this.....but I'll trust the scientists or psychologists that studied this and stated that male dogs have a tendency of homosexuality in them. But if you find out what one looks like, let me know. I bet you go down the streets looking at people and saying "yep, they are straight....nope they are gay.....DAMNIT!"

I agree. However, again you made the initial response that dogs weren't gay. I simply educated you on the fact that is disputed. I prefer females, and I'm a male. Just is natural for me. I don't understand homosexuality. However, I don't really care what others do. If they want to do whatever it is they do, fine. It's not my life. And I won't support laws that ban it because if someone can do other things, such as smoking or drinking (which are far more dangerous to others), then why go after gays for their feelings or beliefs.

Liberalism isn't that cut and dry. You are hearing propaganda from the right. I'm not saying it's the reason you're conservative, but you are rather extreme in your views of Liberalism. Education is at the heart of Liberalism. Seeking social change through education. It means all facets of education as well, so don't get bogged down in the suggestion that I'm talking only about public schools. The idea is that through education and understanding, empathy and acceptance can occur. For issues of race, religion, gender, and ethnicity, gaps can be closed and tolerance of difference reached.
As far as social entitlements, most on the left believe some measures must be utilized in order to improve social ills. My father put himself in a better position economically through simple hard work and intelligence. But conditions of perpetual hardship can and have occurred in history. Look at areas in WV for example: black or white doesn't matter, but people are limited by lack of resources and opportunities. For every person like my father, there are 2 or 3 that are bound to their conditions due to obligations to family (meaning they can't just move to areas where work is available). Single parents face this issue more than anyone else. I'm raising 2 kids, and I can't imagine how difficult it is doing it alone. The left want programs that help. That provide relocation assistance, training, and educational opportunities to help people to find their own way financially.
Attacking issues of racism (and more so sexism today) in the workplace is another crusade of the left. Deny it if you'd like, but both still exist (I've witnessed this first hand).
These issues are approached in many different ways, and are seen if varying levels of importance by people on the left. So, don't lump everyone together. Try to understand the sentiment (for the most part) has nothing to do with scams or manipulation or denying Americans their liberty. Most of that is simple conservative propaganda that seeks to vilify the left.
That's what makes them either right? (Male or Female) What's a 'transgender's' genitalia look like...a Cucumber attached to the opened inside half a Peach?
