Even if that were not true, I at least do know how to itemize my tax returns on whatever it is earn. Primarily because the money I earn I'm interested in keeping as much of it as I legally can.

Congrats on the Ride! Acura is exemplary. .I had an Acura MDX since 2015. I traded it in for New Expedition in September. I love the Expedition,. I miss the Acura though. Ford 0 percent financing to “eligible” customers is Ace. Clearly each of our vehicles won’t be on cylinder blocks anytime soon.

That is a very nice product. It is not the most expensive in its class however, and most buyers in that Full sized Luxury sport SUV class prefer other badges.

The point is that model for upscale Acura buyers is obsolete, A newer model is being introduced and it makes no sense to pay top dollar for that when an entirely new model will be available in just a few weeks.
That model will drop like a rock on resale or trade in because it's not state-of-the-art for either that segment or that vehicle's customers.

Baseline sticker means absolutely ZERO in making a deal or the actual costs to the Dealer. There are so many other variables involved in what the dealer sells any model to you for. Market demand, competition from other dealers, destination charges, hold backs, floors, factory incentives, closeouts, options packages, the list is extensive.
No one pays MSRP...no one. Baseline sticker prices are merely MSRP selling guidelines to set common market pricing...but that can vary from dealer-to-dealer as well as city to city. Country hasn't given us the details, but country doesn't have to. I know enough being in the business and knowing how this segment is priced that country paid waaaaaaay more for that particular vehicle than it either is worth or cost that particular dealer.
If I showed country how much he got reamed, he might go shoot that dealer and become my best friend for saving him big time $$$$$$$$$$$$$. Matter of fact as a public service to country...if I can get a look at a copy of the sales contract (not financing...the actual bill of sale) I can tell country within a few dollars how much that dealer tagged him for.
My guess is it's approaching 20K. (above what that dealer paid for that particular vehicle)

You're right I don't know all the particulars. However I can 100% guarantee you paid more for that vehicle than it is currently worth today in the resale segment or most definitely more than what that dealer actually paid for it. I am as sure of that as I am you have no clue how to manage a 250K income.
How much have you just purchased in lost residual value? Take it to another dealer in another State that has a large supply of that same model with those options and see how much they'd give you for it? You'll start crying when you see how much you just got ripped off.
