I can't believe that these transfers surprise anyone. It always happens after a coaching change. WRs in RR schemes block and catch screen passes. Rarely throw downfield. Hard to get great WRs to block every play.

I am starting to think that at least some of these guys are entering the portal because they are soft. If you want to leave bc they fired a head coach who wasn’t getting the job done after he was given 6 years to win, maybe you’re part of the problem.

Exactly! It’s not like these guys are irreplaceable. We’re not talking about losing the core of our 2005-2007 team. This is a group of kids who weren’t winning. It’s probably best for those who don’t want to work hard to look for a new school. I wish them well.

Evidently players that are leaving, including Hudson Clement, are pissed that fans have flooded social media with negative comments. What a bunch of pre-madonnas.

I also heard that he was upset that Rich Rod didn't "beg him" to stay. Seriously.

When a player leaves, so be it. "I ain't begging anyone" should be Rich Rod's mentality. If you want to play for WVU, then stay. If not, then hit the door. This team needs an attitude adjustment and edge about them. And after 6 years of Brown, it appears that most of his players don't have that and now understand what Rich Rod is about.

Agents are snakes in the grass. Always striking when turmoil arrives. They work without the player getting as high a bid as they can find then they tell player to enter the portal cause I got you such and such amount.

TV, Money, Agents and Alumni NIL has ruined college sports.

Setup some kind of salary package. Get rid of the portal. If a player wants to leave then they should pay penalty.

There is no accountability anymore.

Read a story about Travis Hunter this morning. He got a huge NIL deal. Was worth like $5 million. He never saw a dime. Why? He gave it back to Colorado pool to pay other players on the team. That guy seems like an outstanding young man. Good grades. Never forgot where he came from. Helping out others.
