Key word being "lost". It doesn't take any effort to lose a game. WVU, or any other program for that matter, could do that just as easily.

Sorry, but the current top 10 are the rankers' choices before the season began. Nothing short of WVU going unbeaten and defeating Oklahoma twice in 7 days will get the Mountaineers into the playoff.

That should be more than enough incentive for WVU to play its ass off in every game. Win by 20 or more so that they look more and more determine to rig the Final Four.

But WVU has to win, and convincingly. Those who have been there before have a huge advantage. We'll have to earn our bread this season.
