What does OU do well?

When you start comparing stats between teams, it kind of ignores schedule strength of schedule. .

No doubt about that - OU's road win over Tennessee is way more impressive than anything WVU has done up to this point. And I made another post in this thread about our defense not facing a challenge yet. But for us, our defensive stats from 2012-2014 were not this good even with a couple of cream puffs to try to pad the stats early in the season. So we're hoping that this is a sign that things are finally turning around on defense. At least per Big 12 standards. We know it won't be possible to stay near the top of scoring defense stats in the Big 12. We're just hoping that we'll be able to get more stops when necessary this season.

No but corners that are banged up do get picked on. Your eye for football is as lame as your personality on the boards. Sanchez was banged up and still is for that matter. He was gimping around pretty badly at the Tulsa game. While you didn't see this, Tulsa did and they went after him.

Sanchez is a good CB. His problem is that his skill sets are better than his physique. He's a lightweight. He doesn't carry enough weight on him so he's constantly fighting off the injury bug.

I learned something today. Placing posters on ignore on one board doesn't carry over to others boards. So, you're on ignore on this board now.

I lost who I wanted to reply to in this damn sea of topic view, but I wouldn't put too much stock in Tulsa's passing success against OU. Tulsa has emphasized passing since Dallas drafted Robert Newhouse. They pass on everyone. Still bodes well for WVU's pass game vs OU with our run mixed in half of the plays. [WVU]

We had the worst d in Oklahoma history last year and our secondary contributed to that. So far this year against the one good O we faced we got torched. I must have missed those "stats," and I'd hardly call a goofy TV commentator on a 2nd rate football broadcast a "fact" maker.
