It’s painfully obvious we can’t stop this offense. Might as well start bringing the house every down and force them to make plays.
Bigger question......do we even HAVE a "defensive" coach?
Here's my thoughts. Position players are closer to their position coaches. And Brown firing their defensive coach was a chickensh!t move during the season to save his own job. Just saying.

These announcers are GARBAGE. Dang, they are bad. CTE is a dangerous disease.
That was the right play call........if Greene passes then here is how it plays out:
1. He scrambles around, no time left
2. He over throws or throws behind a wide open receiver
3. We get zero points.
So you believe we will make defensive adjustments then at the half to hold them to just 70?

There's an example of Aranda spazzing out on a decision. Every kick off in that direction has been shorter than the other direction. Trying a 55 yard FG in that direction was stupid. But he's probably also thinking that he'll get another 6-7 opportunities to score before the end of the quarter.
I don't think it really matters. It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't decision. If we bring pressure, then our DB's are exposed in open space. If we don't and we drop back in coverage, then we still allow receivers to run free.

Greene is a one read QB. Meaning he either throws it to his first read or takes off and runs. What Nicco did the past 2 starts was to go through 2-3 reads.
They can’t cover without pressure. That’s blatantly obvious at this point.
Perhaps he was fired because he's a wife beater and they couldn't cover it up anymore.
I agree. I'm just saying the players may not agree. Again, players are close to their position coaches.
We do better when we blitz. You think they would figure that out by now.
