No place in society for nuts like this wacko

Aug 26 (Reuters) - A white man armed with a high-powered rifle and a handgun killed three Black people at a Dollar General store in Jacksonville, Florida, on Saturday, before shooting himself, in what local law enforcement described as a racially motivated crime.

"This shooting was racially motivated, and he hated Black people," Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters told a press conference.

The suspect, whom Waters described as a white male wearing a tactical vest, was not identified. Waters said all three victims - two men and a woman - were Black.

Waters said authorities believed the shooter acted alone, and that before the shooting he had authored "several manifestos" for media, his parents and law enforcement detailing his hatred for Black people.

There's always more to a story than reported. However personally I wish he would have gotten professional help years ago or just killed himself. Whatever it took to spare the innocent or start a race war.

He is said to have sent a manifesto which detailed his racial hatred to police, media and his parents before the attack.

Sadly, this has always been around and it always will be, regardless of what race is doing it.

Hatred is and always will be.

Today's left will always push it too. Pretty soon, breathing fresh air will be racist. I mean, they claim a good education is racist. Even swimming is racist. It only breeds hatred. They know it too. It's what they want.

Shooter was previously evaluated for mental health crisis

The shooter was the subject of a 2017 law enforcement call under the Baker Act, which allows people to be involuntarily detained and subject to an examination for up to 72 hours during a mental health crisis.

Did the Dollar General gunman have any previous encounters with police?

Previous incidents included a 2016 domestic call to his home that did not result in an arrest, police said. A year later, another call led to his temporary detention for emergency health services under Florida's Baker Act law.

I would still scrub his tech and see if anyone was spinning the evil nutjob up.

Did the Dollar General shooter act alone?

Yes. There was no evidence that the shooter was part of a larger group.

The mental illness needs to be addressed. The racial nonsense in journalism needs to stop too

The Media is clinging to another shooting without addressing the real issue:
the mental health crisis

Society is becoming less and less human-compatible generally

Therapy and antidepressants are government-subsidized band-aids for the intolerable societal conditions they've created Rather than remove the conditions that make people depressed, we pump them full of psychiatric medications or send them to "talk it out"

We are modifying our internal state to tolerate conditions we would otherwise find intolerable.

Anyone else notice how we got the Jacksonville shooter’s manifesto within hours of the “racially motivated” incident, but we still don’t have the Nashville Trans Terrorist’s manifesto 5 months after they murdered Christian schoolchildren?

It’s a simple explanation:

One boosts the regime’s racially divisive narrative

The other doesn’t

Gun Owners of America

@GunOwners

The Jacksonville killer was an evil man with evil intentions. His blatant copying of other racist mass murderers from Buffalo, NY and Christchurch, NZ who scribbled on their rifles with a white marker is disgusting.

This isn’t about Palmetto State Armory—other murderers have used different manufacturers. This isn’t about America—the exact same thing happened in New Zealand.

THEY WROTE ON THEIR RIFLES SO YOU WOULD READ IT AND THE MEDIA WOULD AMPLIFY IT.

This is a textbook case of serial killers sharing techniques. In fact, the Buffalo, NY killer wrote: “the media loves to hate on the AR-15, which may increase coverage and public outlash.”

As a country, we must STOP sensationalizing mass murderers and their actions for the purposes of advancing a gun control agenda and look at the ROOT CAUSES of this violence, such as:

1 the severe mental illness driving these racist, violent actions.

2 the “media contagion effect” which rewards mass killers for their violent actions.

Americans should demand accountability from the media for the role they play in encouraging future acts of violence.

That’s why GOA is a staunch proponent of legislation in Congress condemning the media for using mass murderers for viral content.

Resolutions introduced by Rep Ogles' and Mike Lee's call on the media to VOLUNTARILY adopt standards to minimize the “media contagion effect” and deny mass killers the publicity and infamy they desire.

If media and politicians would stop weaponizing tragedies, perhaps we could work together and “do something” EFFECTIVE.
