You guessed it!

1. JJ Wetherholt, INF, West Virginia

While there are many strong hitters in this year’s tournament field, none may be better than Wetherholt. With a batting average of .443, the sophomore second baseman will have the highest batting average among players in the tournament as he finished the regular season at No. 2 in the country in the category.

In addition to his high batting average, Wetherholt is also slashing .443/.512/.778 with 15 home runs, 56 RBIs and 94 hits. His OPS of 1.285 ranks No. 9 in the country as do his 94 hits. He also ranks in the b in both slugging percentage and on-base percentage as well, ranking No. 13 and No. 17 respectively, proving he not only can hit the ball effectively but he can also get it to go far or get on base through his strong plate discipline. This makes Wetherholt the toughest batter pitchers will have to face during this year’s tournament.

One of the best hitters I've seen in baseball. No doubt will be in MLB.
